Europe Is Getting A Lovely MAD MAX: FURY ROAD Limited Collector's Edition Blu-Ray Set

If you're a fan of Mad Max: Fury Road and live in Europe, you may be in luck as WB has just unveiled a pretty awesome Limited Collector's Edition Blu-ray set for the George Miller-directed thrill ride!

George Miller's masterpiece Mad Max: Fury Road, which starred Tom Hardy (The Drop) and Charlize Theron (The Huntsman) in the leads, was undoubtedly one of the most fun rides of the summer, winning over both critics and fans as it raced its way to a global haul of over $366M. While it didn't exactly set the box office on fire, many comparing its performance to last year's critically acclaimed Tom Cruise-starrer Edge Of Tomorrow, it did do well enough to warrant a sequel, tentatively titled Mad Max: The Wasteland, which is currently in the early stages of development.

Yesterday, Warner Home Video UK unveiled their Mad Max: Fury Road Limited Collector's Edition Blu-ray set, which features a very cool model of Max Rockatansky's car, a 1974 Ford XB Falcon V8 Interceptor. Along with the reveal of the set also came a list of special features. Check those out below:

Special Features:
Maximum Fury: Filming Fury Road Featurette
Mad Max: Fury on Four Wheels Featurette
The Road Warriors: Max and Furiosa Featurette
The Tools of the Wasteland Featurette
The Five Wives: So Shiny, So Chrome Featurette
Fury Road: Crash & Smash Featurette
Deleted Scenes

There's no word on the U.S. release yet, but if this announcement is anything to go by, the States will hopefully see a similar collector's set become available sooner or later. This Limited Collector's Edition is not yet available for pre-order, but it is currently listed on Amazon UK in case you want to bookmark the page for future reference. The set is expected to officially release October 5.

I thought this movie was pretty good but definitely not worth all the praise it got from people on here.

i doubt there will be any movie that can beat Mad Max in winning 2016 oscars in categories like: visual effects, production design, makeup and hairstyling or maybe costume design, sound mixing, sound editing. Cinematography ? I also think there is a chance that Miller could be nominated for best director.

I may not think the movie was superb but on technical level ... well, it looked great.

@blackandyellow Normally I'd agree about CBM-ers overpraising movies, but this movie got pretty unanimous praise from EVERYWHERE, critics and fans included. In fact, it doesn't seem like all that many people on this site even saw it.

yeah ... i think it will win at least in 4 categories (best film Editing, sound mixing, sound editing, visual effects). Kinda like the Matrix.

I don't get all the fuss or hype to be honest. Yeah, sure, it was a good, solid movie & did action well, but other than that, what did it do to garner words such as great & masterpiece?

Same goes for Kingsman, it was enjoyable & entertaining & a good film, I'd dare say I'd probably watch that more & more than I would Mad Max & I will indeed be buying both, but what did both do that's so totally different from other movies to warrant such high praise or considered great?

Not trying to rain on anybody's parade either that thinks both are masterpieces & would genuinely love to hear logical reasoning behind or for it.

Well as i write this its 1 am EST.

Which means @Gusto is stabbing a bartender with a broken bottle of ripple.
And deagging his ancient balls across a dead hooker's bloated belly.

Good times.

Of course Mcgee was supposed to take the dead hooker to the local swamp but his addiction to diet pills distracted him and ..well you just cant find good help these days.

I actually asked Flo from progressive if Gusto could be covered in spite of his pre-existing condition (the terminal miley cyrus fixation) and t turns out that when congress exempted themselves (and mcdonalds ) from obamacare they lumped miley cyrus fans in with political enemies such as people who have souls.

So the bad news is gustos "assisted living" will be basically living under a bridge getting hand jobs from trolls.

Life is good in murica.

Well, you say Europe, but probably this is just an English release.

Believe me, I'm just accross the North-Sea from old blighty and we've got no Watchmen director's cut nor the Batman tv series box nor am I expecting to see the Rogue cut or anything of the sort... I have to import that stuff just the same.

Saw a comment on the internet last week that called Europeans "beans on toast eaters". I'd never heard of that. Leave it to the British to come up with that one. Friggin' bean eaters ^_^

I loved everything about this movie. from the story, its characters and its overall contribution to the mad max mythos. Can't wait for the bluray. Just watched Mad Max 1 & 2 just the other day. First time in about 25 years and they hold up well after all this time. I just realised that a large portion of Mad Max 1 was filmed about 5 km were I live, its amazing how much the place has changed. MM2 is just as good as I remembered saw this movie 6 time at cinemas when it was released. Not sure which one I like better. Fury Road or the Road Warrior! both great movies.
