This is a solid RedBox rental for me.

This weekend I'll probably be dragged to Pitch Perfect 2, which currently sits at who-gives-a-damn % on rotten tomatoes.

It's had like 16 reviews...it will stay high cos it's getting praised to bits, but it won't stay 100%, no new film does

My second most anticipated film of the year(behind Age of Ultron) and I'm seeing this on opening day.

One negative review has finally popped up, but it's sitting at 97%.

Rotten Tomatoes have always sucked, because I can appreciate a film like Iron Man as much as I appreciate a film like Man of Steel but a part of me does feel gleeful when the consensus of critics do applaud a film that I hope to be amazing, and this is an example. Hell, I'm sure everyone, no matter how they feel about RT or how criticism is chalked up to a percentage still feel a bit hopeful when the majority of those critics like a film.

Question must one watch the older movies to watch this ? or is this kinda a reboot ?
BodieBroadus

@R3dRUM

It's probably a reboot, I wouldn't worry about watching the other ones. But for entertainment's sake, watch Mad Max 2 anyway, great movie.

It may well be good but it won't stay 100%,someone will hate it.

I just went on Rotten Tomatoes. It has a 97% (not 100%). Also keep in mind that there are only 35 reviews so far, so 97% isn't as impressive as it sounds and will change after the movie is released and the other hundreds of critics get to see it.

@R3dRUM It is a reboot, but it starts in an advance point of the story, taking in counts the things that happened in the movies before. Maybe they clarify that stuff in the tie-in comics, but it is a reboot.

Mad Max Fury Road is not a reboot. It takes place after Thunderdome.
