Must be a massive payday he’s getting for that solo film. I wonder how many movies he’s signed up for now. Probs 4-5 I imagine

fury road was one of the best films this century imo and i love taylor joy. unsure on hemsworth though, not really sold on him as an actor.

@tmp3 - I think Hemsworth is an actor who needs the right director and material to push him. he was genuinely really good in Rush. He never seems to push himself in that way.

@GhostDog - rush is the only time i've enjoyed him, but i just feel like he struggles a lot of the time. he's got that cavill thing where he's just really wooden most of the time, even michael mann couldn't get a great performance form him.

@tmp3 - yea I would agree about the wooden thing but only outside of Thor. Thor allows Hemsworth to stretch a bit more and not just humorously. I found him genuinely good in Infinity War. Cavill is really wooden in his line delivery and whenever he’s asked to give “emotion” if you know what I mean. Hemsworth has bouts being of wooden.

In IW when Hemsworth has his talk with Rocket on the ship about how much he’s loss, he was pretty good at showing the hurt beneath the motivation.
