Matthew Vaughn decided to pass on the opportunity to helm X-Men: Days of Future Past in order to bring Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons' The Secret Service to the big screen. He obviously saw something special in the brilliant Millarworld series, and judging from the below comments made by Millar via his Twitter account, the movie is already shaping up to be something very good indeed. Colin Firth is attached to play 'Uncle Jack', while Leonardo DiCaprio is rumoured to be in the running to play the villain. With a list of candidates for 'Gary' which includes the likes of Aaron Taylor-Johnson and John Boyega, there's no denying that The Secret Service has the potential to be THE best comic book movie of 2014. As for what the other Millarworld movie adaptation could be, here's hoping that we're about to get some news on Supercrooks or Nemesis!
