With 2022 on its way out, we're looking ahead to next year with our epic 2023 movie preview, where we'll spotlight nearly every major upcoming release studio-by-studio!

After getting the ball rolling with Disney yesterday, we're shifting our focus to Paramount Pictures, who look to follow up their banner 2022 - highlighted by Top Gun: Maverick's historic box office performance - with what could be an equally impressive 2023.

They're already in prime position to continue their hot streak with another blockbuster Tom Cruise title, Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One, and a number of exciting sequels, including Scream 6 and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. Plus, the studio has Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem on their calendar, both of which should be among the more fun theatrical releases of the year.

Check out our Paramount Pictures 2023 movie preview by clicking the "Next" button below!

80 For Brady

Ah, remember the good ol' days? 80 for Brady tells the story of four senior friends who take a road trip to Houston to attend Super Bowl LI and watch their hero, the legendary Tom Brady, and his storied New England Patriots win their fifth world championship.

Cast: Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, Sally Field, Tom Brady, Billy Porter, Rob Corddry, Alex Moffat, Guy Fieri, Harry Hamlin, Bob Balaban, Glynn Turman, Sara Gilbert, Jimmy O. Yang, Ron Funches, Matt Lauria, Sally Kirkland, Alex Bentley, Rob Gronkowski, Danny Amendola, and Julian Edelman

Release Date: February 3

Titanic 25-Year Anniversary

On the heels of Avatar: The Way of Water, James Cameron is bringing his all-time blockbuster Titanic back to theaters just in time for its 25th Anniversary, and knowing Cameron, this re-release should be well worth your time.

Cast: Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, Billy Zane, Kathy Bates, Frances Fisher, Bernard Hill, Jonathan Hyde, Danny Nucci, David Warner, and Bill Paxton

Release Date: February 10

Scream 6

Following the blockbuster success of Scream (2022), Ghostface is taking his murderous reign of terror to New York City, and even though franchise lead Neve Campbell will be sitting this one out, this should still be near the top of your watchlist!

Cast: Courteney Cox, Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Hayden Panettiere, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Dermot Mulroney, Henry Czerny, Samara Weaving, Tony Revolori, Jack Champion, Devyn Nekoda, Liana Liberato, Josh Segarra, and Roger L. Jackson

Release Date: March 10

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves

Chris Pine headlines this ensemble piece, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, and with Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley (Game Night) at the helm, expect this one to potentially surprise and be one of the more fun big-budget entries of the year!

Cast: Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, Hugh Grant, Chloe Coleman, Jason Wong, and Daisy Head

Release Date: March 31

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts

Autobots, roll out! Optimus Prime and the Autobots are back in an all-new adventure, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, which sees Steven Caple Jr. (Creed II) take the reins of the franchise and steer it into an all-new direction where we'll meet the Maximals and Terrorcons1

Cast: Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, Luna Lauren Vélez, Tobe Nwigwe, Peter Cullen, Ron Perlman, Peter Dinklage, Pete Davidson, Liza Koshy, Cristo Fernández, John DiMaggio, Michelle Yeoh, David Sobolov, and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez

Release Date: June 9

Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One

Light the fuse!

At long last, Ethan Hunt is back in action in Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One, and the stakes have never been higher as he takes on his biggest threat to date. While we've seen the teaser, director Christopher McQuarrie has been decidedly coy about potential plot details, although knowing his history with Tom Cruise, it's a safe bet that we're in for quite the treat when this one arrives next summer.

Cast: Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell, Shea Whigham, Marcin Dorocinski, Pom Klementieff, Esai Morales, Rob Delaney, Henry Czerny, Cary Elwes, Indira Varma, Mark Gatiss, Charles Parnell, Greg Davis, Marcin Dorociński, Lampros Kalfuntzos, and Mariela Garriga

Release Date: July 14

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem

We don't know much about Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, but we're willing to wager that it'll be well worth the wait as they put a new spin on the fan-favorite teenage superheroes.

Cast: TBD

Release Date: August 4

PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie

Despite a simultaneous release on Paramount+, PAW Patrol: The Movie grossed over $144.3 million last year on an estimated $26 million production budget, so it should come as no surprise that Paramount was keen on getting these pups back in theaters. Not much else is known, but this should be a fun Halloween treat for your kids.

Release Date: October 13

  • Untitled Bob Marley Biopic (January 12)
  • The Tiger's Apprentice (January 19)
  • A Quiet Place: Day One (March 8)

Mission Impossible is the only one that looks exciting on this list.

Don't really care about any of the others.

Dungeons and Dragons could become a pleasant surprise but I'm not expecting much as of yet.

They really should move MI to August though, they'd run that month.

Oppenheimer, Indiana Jones, and the Marvels are all releasing around it at the moment

D&D, Transformers and Mission Impossible are the only ones I really look forward to. So that banner image is a nice summary.

I look forward especially Dead Reckoning. Really wanna see that big screen, even if that month is already quite crowded.
