It looks like Tom Cruise is ready to kick of marketing for Mission: Impossible 5! Based on a series of tweets it looks like we could get our first official look at the action sequel very, very soon.
Light the fuse.
Based on a series of tweets from superstar Tom Cruise, director Christopher McQuarrie (Jack Reacher), Simon Pegg (Mission: Impossible 3; Ghost Protocol), Alec Baldwin (The Departed), and the official Twitter accounts for Mission: Impossible and Skydance Productions, it looks like we should expect our first official look at Mission: Impossible 5 tomorrow! Check out the tweets below and keep scrolling to read a little more:
It's currently unknown what we'll be getting, but when the film wrapped about ten days ago, McQuarrie did tease that the first official teaser trailer would be arriving very soon, so it looks like that's more than likely what we'll be seeing, however an official title announcement, plot synopsis, a cast reveal, and/or a poster are all also on the table.
Mission: Impossible 5 hits theaters July 31st, the same weekend Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy arrived last summer, so there's a very good chance it does big business late this summer, especially after the last installment, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, made close to $700M at the box office in 2011.
What do you guys think of the announcement? Sound off with your thoughts below!
