Ving Rhames Set To Return For MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 5
Another former member of Tom Cruise's elite IMF team will be returning for the fifth Mission: Impossible as Christopher McQuarrie has just sent out a tweet announcing the return of Ving Rhames.
Director Christopher McQuarrie has announced the return of long-time Mission: Impossible cast member, Ving Rhames. He was last seen reprising his role of Luther Stickell in a cameo appearance near the tail-end of Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol. His character has been one of Ethan Hunt's closest confidants since the inception of the film series.
With this announcement, Rhames will be the only actor, outside of superstar Tom Cruise, to star in all five films. They'll both be joined by Simon Pegg & Jeremy Renner who are returning for their third and second adventures respectively. Rebecca Ferguson & Alec Baldwin will be newcomers to the series.
What do you guys think of Rhames' return? Which other former IMF agents would you want to see back? Paula Patton? Maggie Q? Jonathan Rhys Meyers? Sound off with your thoughts below!
Mission: Impossible 5 is expected to hit theaters December 25, 2015.
