While it's mostly managed to fly under the radar due to the impending arrival of Warner Bros.' Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and Disney's Ralph Breaks the Internet, Lionsgate does have a fairly intriguing release coming up in Otto Bathurst's Robin Hood, which has Taron Egerton (Kingsman: The Golden Circle) donning the hood.

He'll be joined by Academy Award-winner Jamie Foxx (The Amazing Spider-Man 2) as Little John, Eve Hewson (The Knick) as Maid Marian, Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades of Grey) as Will Scarlet, Tim Minchin (Californication) as Friar Tuck, and Golden Globe-nominee Ben Mendelsohn (Ready Player One) as the Sheriff of Nottingham.

With the release date swiftly approaching, the studio has released three new clips, thirteen new ultra hi-resolution stills, the official final poster, and eight new international posters from the film.

This thing has box office bomb written all over it. Hope I'm wrong. I like the cast.

Wish they would have done a futuristic, sci-fi telling.

@Typobutcorrect - It sure does, it looks generic as hell.

@Typobutcorrect - A sci fi version would be bitchin'! Modern day would also have been cool, doing it with tech and make the Sherrif of Nottingham some NSA zealot. Of course the studio people are all rich guys so there is no way they would go that route.

Still don't plan on going to see it, but the trailer was far more amusing than I was expecting when I saw Halloween.

Probably would have a better chance if they went the more traditional route than the darker edgy route.

Yup...a few people will see this. Eve Hewson does look like a young Eva Green I'll give it that.

Nothing about this looks good. It looks so bad in fact that I finally felt like I needed to create an account so I could say so.

Why does a movie like this get a cast with high name recognition? Either the script had to be great or they were paid very well. This is more generic and bland looking than a Michael Bay film. Still better than Zack Snyder.
