It's an interesting concept, but I dunno. Looks a bit too glossy.

Looks okay I suppose and it is made here in the lovely Windy City. That's a plus. : )

Looks like whole story in the trailer. But I guess they had to do that to spike interest.

I'd literally see anything with her in it.
She's so so so so talented.
And really beautiful.

Not hating on this but I have a strong feeling that it would do a lot better if it came out before the Hunger Games.

The only reason I would watch this when it comes out on DVD is to watch Maggie Q kick some ass. Shailene Woodley is pretty plain and "meh" to me. Different strokes.

I thought she was cute in that Clooney movie, felt bad for her cut in "Amazing" 2, but man... she's really starting to 'Grid my Gears' recently for some reason.

Maybe because I heard her speak outside of film. Either way, zerrrroooo interest.

I can't describe how much I adore Shailene! But in this film she seems rather bland :( remembered me immediately of Jennifer Lawrence and her one-facial-expression acting...

the trailer is the movie!

i am also glad she will not be in the spider-man movie

because now we get the actress best suited to the part

And she is already playing gwen stacey

A quick hair dye,different make-up
and Peter hits the jackpot.

This looks really bad. I was thinking Hunger Games lite but it's more like The Host lite.

The train jumping scene was weak. The Dauntless are supposed to put you in awe in the way the jump from a fast moving train. I could have jumped my old behind from that train better than those kids.

I also hate the generic hunk. Here is where I would have shook it up and added Michael B Jordan as the love interest.

This is a Redbox for me.

Hunger Games/Ender's Game/Twilight blah blah blah…rip-off. Tired of these teen garbage flicks. The big actors who show up in them (Harrison Ford, Ben Kingsley, Kate Winslet must laugh all the way to the bank on these pieces of trash).

And oh, can WE PLEASE DISPENSE WITH THE crescendo inducing music at the end of EVERY TRAILER!

@vtopa i Agree with this being like the Hunger Games, but Ender's Game? Really? You do realize that the Ender Saga has been one of the most beloved scifi franchises since the 80's, and it's target audience is boys and men right? HAHA I can't believe you just lumped it together with Hunger games and this.

Yeah it doesn't look so good to me either. I don't know what it is, but when you watch a trailer with Jennifer Lawrence in it it's just different.

It doesn't look bad. It looks interesting, to put it lightly. I think everyone is just instinctively becoming more against Woodley because of her previous casting as Mary Jane. If not for that, people wouldn't presume negatively what moves she makes with her career. Or at least not the majority of people.

@patriautism YOu make a good point. I know what Ender's is about. But, the movie is following the same formula as Twilight and the rest of them. Get a young unknown (cheap) actor for the lead. Sprinkle in a superstar (Ford, Winslet) and add more romance than is needed. Ender's is a better movie and a better story, but I submit that the formula is the same.

In any case, I'm sick of these kinds of flicks (Ender's notwithstanding)
