The director may not be Indonesian, but all those great action scenes Gareth directed were filled with Indonesian fighters/actors so it doesn't seem to me that this guy's pride is misplaced.

Uhh...not trying to be argumentative. Just seemed to me that you were placing the success of these movies solely on the shoulders of Gareth.

The first one was amazing and had some of the best choreographed fight scenes I've ever seen.
It was easily my favorite movie of 2012 other than Avengers and Cabin in the Woods.

I was hammered at the bar when my boy 23 told me about the first one. He said it was one of the best action flicks ever. I promptly forgot about it. Months later when we were sober, he mentioned it again. Checked it out and it made my mouth drop open. Anybody who ain't seen the first one needs to. Immediately. Preferably sober.

@Gamasmasher71 you are right. For several years, Indonesian cinema has been back to life after suffering a comma for a decade. This movie will not be exist without it.

@yuwono, just keep watching Indonesian movie in theatre. Our population is enough to make a sustainable film industry. That way will make other Evans producing other movies.
