THE RAID 3 Is Already On The Mind Of Director Gareth Evans

While we suffer through the neigh unbearable wait for The Raid 2: Berandal, director Gareth Evans is already thinking about The Raid 3! However, there's also some news from Evans that may slightly disappoint fans.

We're a mere 8 days away from the March 28th release of The Raid 2: Berandal here in the US but director Gareth Evans is already discussing The Raid 3. Talking to Variety, Evans stated, "If this one is two hours after ‘The Raid’ finished, ‘Raid 3′ starts three hours before ‘The Raid 2′ finishes. So you go back in time a little and then branch off for a different story." Sounds as if Evans, at the very least, has an outline for the story. However, he proceeded this statement with this disheartening caveat regarding the film's producers that are anxious for a third installment. "[The producers are] going to have to wait a while. I don’t want to do it for three years, maybe. I do have a concept in mind." Bummer.
