CAPTAIN MARVEL Star Brie Larson Shares Impressive Workout Video Shortly After Wrapping THE MARVELS Production CAPTAIN MARVEL Star Brie Larson Shares Impressive Workout Video Shortly After Wrapping THE MARVELS Production

The Marvels may have finished shooting, but star Brie Larson (Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel) has remained in superhero shape over the holidays as you'll see from this impressive workout video. Check it out!

Brie Larson first played Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel, later appearing (briefly) in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. She's since made a cameo appearance in Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings, but will once again take centre stage in The Marvels

The Captain Marvel sequel isn't set to be released until February 17, 2023, but there's a huge amount of excitement to see Carol Danvers team up with Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani) and Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris).

Production reportedly wrapped back in November, but Larson is clearly staying in superhero shape. The actress took to social media yesterday to share an impressive workout video that highlights her Marvel Cinematic Universe physique. The Oscar-winner will likely be needed for reshoots at some point, not to mention photoshoots and perhaps even other Marvel Studios projects.

Another interesting Twitter post from Larson saw her tease Zawe Ashton's villainous role in The Marvels, though we still don't have any official details about the movie beyond plans for Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Spectrum to blast into action together. Chances are we won't learn more until mid/late 2022 as there are lots of other upcoming movies and TV shows to promote before this one.

Check out Larson's workout video below and keep checking back here for updates on The Marvels.

She's obviously killing it and it great shape, but she's using her toes to pop up on the pull up. It's a bit of an assist, and she could me maximizing her reps by not exploding up using her lower half. Minor nit pick with her trainer and not her.

@ElricReturns - I don't know why they turned off comments, but yeah, totally agree.

So here's the thing, fitness is a personal quest that is all about improving on what you did last week. So I dunno. If she posted something last week struggling to do a single pull up, I'd say this is impressive. But she's jumping off of the ground with each rep. She's kipping. The only thing I'd say she's doing right is controlling her movements well.

It's on the trainer, sure. But its also kinda weird to post this like you're crushing it while basically cheating through the reps. It's the toes touching the ground that really kinda irks me about this.

If that's improvement from last week, then good on her. That is impressive. But like all things that come from Brie Larson, this just feels poser as hell.

@Demigods - well I wasn't trying to grill her as a person. You are doing a lot of assuming and filling in blanks about a person you don't know. I can see where you are coming from, but I'm not sure I see all that to be facts. For all we know she's contracted to make a certain number of MARVEL related social media posts, only they really know.

🤷🏾‍♂️

I was just commenting about the assist cuz it's all I noticed and felt compelled to comment on lol

@ElricReturns - you know what... that's a very fair point.

It's a feeling I get from everything I see about her. Every time she posts something it just seems, sort of self-congratulatory in some way and undeservedly so. This just seems to follow suit.
"look at me crushing my workout" as she cheats her way through each rep.
Maybe it's because I'm a work out nut and I used to train people (all pro bono) and train with people who struggled their asses off to keep great form and do it right. So the jumping off the ground just irks me.

Honestly though, I'm an idiot who never got paid to help people workout, and her trainer gets paid MILLIONS. So maybe I'm just an idiot who doesn't know what he's talking about and maybe this is the best way to improve if you're struggling to do "proper" pull ups. I could always be dead wrong and just too stupid to realize it lol

I like Brie so props to her and her personal trainer, but if I had a studio footing the bill or had enough money of my own to hire a full-time personal trainer, I'd be in Thor/Herculean shape as well. As it is me and my slight beer belly will now return to the couch and to my TV/DVR/Blu-Rays.

@Mugens - Going to the gym nowadays with everyone wearing masks and paranoid of each other is no fun, take my word for it.

@Mugens - You'd need roids to get in Thor shape considering Hemsworth isn't even natty

@globaltravels - The only feathers this article is going to ruffle are the same 6 users who get offended over anything that involves women and minorities. And this is why I believe this site allows those individuals a platform because it brings in clicks.

Honestly, I'm jealous, and to deal with it, I'm going to rant about something off-topic...

I've seen David Corenswet fancast as Superman a few times (and WB seems entirely disinterested in his type for their next few Superman projects), but why haven't I seen people suggesting him for Cyclops?! It just struck me earlier today. I know we've all been enamored with his hair actually doing that "S" curly thing, but at 6'4" he'd be a great Slim Summers.

If you guys ever have the chance, there is an ESPN documentary with Heidi Moneymaker who plays Black Widow's stunt double and her sister plays Captain Marvel's stunt double. It's crazy to see what these women go through performing these stunts. And not to mention the actress having to sort of match their physical forms and energy to perform the closeups. It's a cool documentary.

This is only impressive for people who don't work out. Brie might be strong and lean but if she wanna ad muscles she needs to eat which I guess she doesn't. . . Nothing wrong with that but she's not in superhero shape all im saying..
