@ButtNakedSmurf: Based on the length and sheer lethality of his hair, I think it's fair to say that he has an Ulti-mullet.

I HATE this version of Wolverine. It just looks...wrong.

Were they really trying to do an anime version of the Japan saga?Logan squaring off with Shingen, glimpses of Mariko and Yukio...OK,I'm intrigued, considering the live-action movie is based on the same storyline ...

Leave it to the Japanese to make Wolverine look ghey. Anime sucks and the sooner people accept it the better off the world will be. I don't care if it's more violent. I don't care if it has an "edge" to it. The choppy dialogue for the voice overed versions and the giant eyeballs and goofy "look I'm embarressed" shots are just dumb. How can anyone seriously like it?!?! It's America's fault for letting all the animation to be done overseas over the years and not honing the craft here. I'll take any 80's GI JOE or Transformers over this crap.

This is old news

All i can say is, at least they didnt go with the weird demon hunter version in the second video clip there..

The Iron Man anime is looking pretty good, so i will give this ago kinda look forward to what else they bring to the anime style (dont know why people are such big haters towards it)

Im not a big fan of anime...and just by looking at this, that wont be changing anytime soon.

You can say what you want about Marvel owning DC in live action movies...but when it comes to direct to dvd animation movies...DC got Marvel beat hands down.

Yu-gi-Oh with claws. I like Anime but this is just unoriginal vomit.

"Hey, what if we make wolverine tall, skinny, give him a mullet and see how many times we can make him pull his claws in and out in a 2 minute trailer?!!!"

Looks waaaaaaaaay better than that last emo-wolverine version. He still looks like a teenage wolverine though.

Well at least it's an improvement from the trailer. But I still don't understand what everyone was applauding about? Perhaps the room was filled with DC fanboys who were happy to see a Marvel character ruined. *no offense to DC fans* ;-)

Is it just me or are the claws coming out of his palms and between his fingers? Freeze at 1:37 omg they are...thats fail, and whats up with the hair?! The only thing that even resembles Wolverine is the claws and they aren't even coming out of the backs of his hands! This is an abomination of @$$.

They found a way to make wolverine emo. I can't wait to hear his voice. I'm gonna watch and see if I can separate the two, but if it stinks I'm out. They didn't just adapt or re-imagine this in my mind, They really just made a brand new guy and gave him claws.

I am not really digging the new "look". I do love anime, but I think they kind of made him look like a girl. I am looking forward to to the new Supernatural anime though...I haven't seen the Iron-man anime yet...How is it?

@TonyPaintball Um...dude...80's Transformers WAS an anime before they brought it to America........................

comicbookjerk - 10/13/2010, 4:34 PM
@ Forceoflegend Iron Man kinda fits in well with the Anime Universe, I mean most Anime contains some kind of Meca robot or something so Iron Man isn't any different, Tony Starks Actually Tony Stark, Humorous Flirtatious with the Women and Rich. Everything you could want from Iron Man I guess lol but the Wolverine Anime should have mad him look a little more of roughed up looking guy.

Reminds me why I don't watch Anime...its like stealing a character from one universe and inserting him.

@ ArrionShadow agreed! I have seen the trailer for Ironman...But I have yet to watch the first episode everyone is talking about...For the record...I am not a big Mecha anime guy...I prefer many other types of anime to mecha. I think it is overdone in the genre...Although Ironman is a little different situation. Wolverine does look like a wussy in this version...They made him look to girly...He is supposed to be a burly mountain man!

@forceoflegend: my favorite anime of the decade: code geass, or cowboy bebop, or fullmetal (either series), or........................ i could go on but those are my top 3, wait. death note, make it top 4 lol
felixxx
felixxx - 10/13/2010, 11:04 PM
I think this and Ironman will be the start to many superhero animes. I dont really know what there is not to like. The characters are drawn in 3X the detail the "The Avengers" are and you all love that cheesy looking s*&$. Honestly the only Marvel movie that was drawn and animated "good" was Planet Hulk. Wolverine V.S was good at times. Dont get me wrong, the others are good to watch but Marvel animation studios have a long way to go to catch up to the artistic style that the Japanese have perfected.

@Tonypaintball-----Why you gotta hate? I loved the 80s toons to man but have you seen one lately.....they suck. I hate to say it but they suck. The animation slow, cheap, and no one ever gets hurt. Every character had a sword, gun, knives, or giant robots and in the end not one drop of blood or a character death. They were cheesy, like most of the cartoons on TV now.
