The movie is available to purchase on Amazon HERE for $14.99, and will also include bonus features. It can be played through the Kindle Fire, XBox 360, Playstation 3, Roku, Tivo, and other devices compatible with Amazon Instant Video. Below you'll find the cover art along with the trailer just in case you missed it last time - although be warned, if you haven't read Frank Miller's graphic Novel, it gives FAR too much away!..

Special features included on the disc will be all new featurettes, 3 bonus cartoons, a digital comic, and a sneak peek at the upcoming Superman: Unbound animated feature.

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2 picks up where the first left off with Batman having returned to Gotham with an all new Robin, however not everyone is welcoming him back to the streets. Gotham City's police are on a manhunt for the Batman as is the newly released Joker. As Batman attempts to stop the Joker one last time, the United States goverment teams up with Superman to bring the Dark Knight down for good.

Peter Weller returns as the voice of the aged Dark Knight along with Ariel Winter as Carrie Kelly, the new Robin. "Lost's" Michael Emerson provides the voice of the 'cured' Joker and Mark Valley will play the Man of Tomorrow, Superman.

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 2 will be released on January 29, 2013

As with the first DVD, I love everything but the cover art. Something wrong with original? Or even an homage to the original?

Loved the first one, and can't wait to check this one out! Hated having to wait for it, but if it's half as good as the first half, it'll be worth it!

Is this going to be like Kill Bill where I HAVE to buy both parts separately, instead of being able to get them together in one package? Hate that.

I see why they're releasing the download first.
I think this will be the trend from now on, slowly weening us off of physical media. I like owning blu-rays but at some point we'll all have movies stored like we have music on iTunes. That, along with streaming services and clouds are the future of home entertainment.

Just got done watching it. Part 2 blows away part 1. To quote a movie, "It makes House Party look like House Party 2!"
