I know that DC had hinted at an animated movie based on the "Tower of Babel" story line from the Justice League series. Whether that's what JL:Doom will be about, I don't know.

Well, according to the link from RexDart, that is what Justice League: Doom is about. That was one of my favorite Justice League stories and a movie about that could be awesome!

I'm consistently impressed by how well these DC animated features adapt classic stories, (or and in the case of Under The Red Hood, unclassic stories). I just wish they'd loosen up on the roughly 70-minute running times. The story should dictate the length of the movie. It's not like they're made-for-TV.

@ apcrazy & rexdarteskimospy

cheers for the info,also about dc adaptions i don't think all star superman was adapted well.

it had alot of ground to cover in 70 minutes.

but i liked under the red hood,i think thats the best one so far.

I agree - I put off watching Under The Red Hood for a while since I hated how they used him in the comics (not to mention all that "Superman-2 punched reality so hard Jason Todd magically came back to life" bullshit), but it turned out to f*cking amazing. Judd Winnick totally redeemed himself.

And I love Bruce Greenwood as Batman. I think he might actually be better than Kevin Conroy. (Heresy, I know.) I wish they were using him in Doom. At least he's in a lot of Young Justice episodes. I get why they're using someone younger for Year One, but I don't see why they keep trying out new Batman voices. Jeremy Sisto was perfect for New Frontier, but Billy Baldwin sucked in Crisis. (Big surprise. He sucks in everything.) They really should've used the JLU cast for that one, since the movie could easily fit in that continuity. Mark Harmon was a good Superman, though. Adam Baldwin in Doomsday, too. (Everybody else in Doomsday sounded wrong.) Clearly, I have strong feelings about the voice actors in cartoons.

@RexDES - Superman Prime not 2. Nevermind, it was a stupid plot device either way.
Under The Red Hood was awesome. It's a shame they'll never adapt the Jason-Todd-as-Robin era into the Batman movie franchise. A trilogy would be good. It looks like they'll never do it, now that Nolan is wrapping the whole franchise up with The Dark Knight Rises. Maybe they could do a Jason Todd trilogy and just set it before TDKR and after TDK. But I doubt they would.
So Under The Red Hood is the closest we're gonna get to a Jason Todd/Robin movie.

Can't wait to see the part when Bruce goes to the east end and ends up fighting the prostitutes. Then is bleeding half to death in his manor.

@marvel72
"Justice league doom" is based on the "Tower of babel" story.

DC Animated movies are the cream of the crop but why is it so damn hard for Marvel and DC to make live action movies as good as the animated. I mean this entire site could make better movies.
