Uhuh-huh-huh.
It's been a long time since Beavis and Butt-Head were a part of the pop-culture zeitgeist, but we recently learned that the metal-loving morons are soon set to return for a brand new Comedy Central series and Paramount+ movie, and creator Mike Judge has now shared a first look at the latter.
Judge posted concept designs for older takes on Beavis and Butt-Head, which obviously suggests the pair will be aged-up considerably for this feature. Whether the series will follow-suit or continue their teenage misadventures remains to be seen.
Beavis and Butt-Head originally ran for seven seasons from 1993 to 1997, and spawned the Beavis and Butt-Head Do America movie in '97. MTV revived the series with Judge back in 2011, but it only ran for one season.
The recent Comedy Central deal is said to include more spinoffs and specials, along with a new animated series called Jodie, which will focus on a supporting character from MTV’s Daria - itself a spinoff of Beavis and Butthead.
Judge is set to return as writer and producer, and will also one again voice both characters.
