Marvel Animation Age has a first look at images promoting the new The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes episode "The Ballad of Beta Ray Bill." The new The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes episode is scheduled to air at 11:30am (ET/PT) on Sunday, May 20th, 2012 as part of the new Marvel Universe programming block on Disney XD. TheBeard scarlet witch and enchantress are very similar but scarlet witch hasn't yet appeard and everyone nows she is going to appear in this season.

I've never seen an episode of this show and I can't say anything about the storytelling, but the animation is awful!!! Look at the size and width of Thor's shoulders compared to the rest of his body, they obviously weren't going for proportional. Maybe it's like Tron and I'll get over it 'cause a like everything else.

@Thunderforce - I was going to say the same thing about his venom injectors. What's the deal there?

.....and yeah it's always cool to see another character show up in the series but Bill would have been down my list at least 40 spots. They were true to the origins and early years of the Avengers for the most part in character appearances during the first season but now this season they are all over the map. Should have gotten Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch along with Swordsman and Power Man, followed by Hercules, Black Panther, then Vision. There would still be many others I would like to see before Bill comes along.

IMO, the second season started out slow, but has been picking up as of late. I'm really enjoying it.

My only gripe is that they shortened and dubbed over the intro theme.

I hope the rumors of cancelling the show aren't true. This is one of the better superhero cartoons we've had in awhile.
