With all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, “Big Hero 6” is an action-packed comedy-adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius—thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion—a robot named Baymax—and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery. Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring comic-book style action, “Big Hero 6” is directed by Don Hall (“Winnie the Pooh”) and Chris Williams (“Bolt”), and produced by Roy Conli (“Tangled”). The film hits theaters in 3D on November 7, 2014. The film hits theaters in 3D on November 7, 2014.

I'll see it. Looks like an interesting property to put to screen. It'll make $300-400 million at least.

It's a movie made for and focused on the kids market...and my kids really liked the first trailer I showed them. For those who think its corny, go watch a PG-13 or R rated movie.

I was hoping for a Big Hero 6 movie, but based on trailers it looks like the whole movie is focused on Hamada and Baymax. Should have just called it Big Hero 2.

@Adversary

I never read the comics, but since Marvel is not involved, I bet it is at least some what accurate in adapting the source material. I don't know about the villain and the story, but at least they have all of the team members, right? Unlike the Avengers or Ant-Man...

Anyway, my kids loved the trailer in theaters. As a matter of fact all the kids did. Disney will have another hit on their hands!

I think the people who are complaining on here think they're "too cool" for kids movies...

Listen, you guys read comic books! You're not too cool for anything!
