The below clip was found by sheer luck. It is an unlisted video from Marvel's youtube page that shows Spidey going against Dr Octopus.

We are not sure of the name of the episode nor when it is supposed to air.

What do you think of Doc Ock? and Mainly what do you think of the clip? Are there any indications that the shows gets better down the line, since this episode is from a later part of the season ? Let us know in the comments section.

As an honest fan of the Ultimate Spider-Man comics.... I'm immensely disappointed.

My favorite spiderman villain...what happened to you? While I do admire the creator's creativity, Doc Ock comes off as an incompetent lackey.

And again with Spidey vs. Ock at Coney Island? Really?

And cue the adults old enough to know better getting pissy about a show for children...

PatientZero I understand that but the amount of venom coming from people aimed at a show that children enjoy is ridiculous, I'll admit I haven't seen it yet due to being in the UK and these clips haven't really done much for me but I don't feel the need to criticize a show that was clearly not made for my audience.

I know this is kinda off topic, but awesome profile picture. That series is awesome

@Tomontherun99 Personally I believe it is fine to critique a series and establish opinions on the product, after all most people who see Pixar or kids movies do the same despite the target audience. Then again, you definately have VERY valid points: I do agree that the "venom" is unnecessary and ridiculous, as shown by how many are forcing people to quit their facebook or formspring accounts. I'm sure there are plenty of people in all demographics who do enjoy the show, and some who don't. I for one do applaud the notion that the creative team is exploring new ideas for the show. As long as we keep the critiques reasonable, I think it is fine for a person to dislike or like a show such as Ultimate Spiderman.

P.S Off topic, I assume you've read Animal Man - is it any good? I've been thinking of picking it up :)

u cant blame people for getting upset with this show. Marvel want to cancel a solid show like The Avengers EMH for this.

@jazzman: I didn't know they were cancelling EMH, that's kinda put a downer on an already miserable Saturday and @Duskbyday I picked up the trade about a week ago and loved every page, I highly recommend it.

I honestly don't think this show is too bad. Sure, a lot of the shows were a lot better and this isn't aimed for our demographic anyways. I think Drake Bell's a great choice to voice Spidey. But, yeah, I really don't like the look of Doc Ock.

Marvel should be making MORE animated programmes. If they had more variety then adults wouldn't be hating on this show aimed at kids. Take a chance, Marvel! You have thousands of potential characters!

A kids show that makes kids "dummer". Wow, way to go MARVEL. You've ruined Spider-man. :D Anyway, we still have THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN coming in July. :D
