Follow Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor and the Hulk as they enter the fictional town of Danville after Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s latest “inator” scheme accidentally removes their powers and immobilizes them. In order to defeat Marvel’s super villains Red Skull, Whiplash, Venom and M.O.D.O.K., the Marvel heroes team up with Phineas and Ferb.


The Phineas & Ferb: Mission Marvel TV special premieres Aug. 16 (8 p.m. ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

Eh...
Okay for kids. For me, well, I cringe at this. Don't get me wrong, this could've been better. It's just the way this was done. The heroes lose their powers and need help from a Disney character? Okay, sounds fine. But when you make one of the heroes Iron Man, who has no powers, and Hulk, who shouldn't even be Hulk without the powers, it sort of becomes a problem. If I were in charge of this, I'd swap Iron Man and Hulk for Captain America and Wolverine. Just a thought.

Everyone nay-sayin' is dumb. Phineas & Ferb is a great show. Like all the fun childhood classics like "Recess" or "Dextor's Laboratory". You idiots are reading too much into this. The more money they make on stuff like this, the more badass stuff they make for adults.

All you DC people should know DC made its mark by getting kids young, and putting out cartoons. Just like Teen Titians Now, kids like this kind of stuff now. And if this being the Gateway for them to be a fan as an adult, everyone wins.

Phineas & Ferb is a HIT with kids. If the Avengers can be on Phineas & Ferb, that will get lots of kids exposure to Marvel that never had it. Wish Marvel could get Super Hero Squad over to DisneyXD for the LITTLE kids. They eat that kind of stuff up!

In closing, if you think this is Disney making Marvel the next Mickey Mouse club, get real.

Actually Super Hero Squad was a hasbro thing. Phineas and Ferb is also pretty damn close to being an emulation of Dexters Laboratory (though it won't reach Dexter's greatness imo). So disney had nothing to do with Super Hero Squad?

How is close to dexter? Dexter is like spongbob, a parody. In Dexter a nerd/genius who builds weird stuff is torture by his weird sister. Phineas and Ferb are just guys who build stuff while their sister screams. They are similar as ideas, but the execution is totally different. It's like saying that Avengers and Transformers are the same just because they have the same ideas.

Also they've gone over why some heroes like Captain America aren't showing up, Marvel is super screwed up with their own properties since multiple companies own the licenses to characters (some woman actually owns all the rights to a She-Hulk movie because she wanted to star as She-Hulk).

The creators of the show made this crossover just for fun, ya'll need to lighten up some.

ill admit this is a funny show.. dare i say a smart one too... P&F.. not the EMH replacement.. i dunno about that show


just think of all the classic cartoon cross overs... he man and she-ra, ninja turtles and power rangers... now this... ;)

but yeah.. hopefully not a sign to come in the movie world...
