CBR have posted another interview with Dushku, who voices Catwoman in the upcoming DC animated feature, and casting director Romano. Interesting stuff for fans of these great DC features..

If you don't fancy watching the vid, Dushku basically goes into detail about this version of Catwoman. Her relationship with the other characters around her and what makes her tick. She also talks about her own experiences growing up as a comic book fan.

Romano says she has been looking to work with Dushku for years, and thought this role was perfect for her. She also speaks about the problems casting a minor to voice young prostitute Holly Robinson. She then goes into the numerous time she has cast Batman in various animated projects. Much more too, ah just watch it!

Batman: Year One is directed by Sam Lui (The Batman, Thor: Tales of Asgard) and Lauren Montgomery (Superman/Batman Apocalypse, Green Lantern: Emerald Knights), and features the voice talents of Benjamin McKenzie (Bruce Wayne / Batman), Bryan Cranston (Jim Gordon), Eliza Dushku (Selina Kyle / Catwoman) and Katee Sackhoff (Sarah Essen). The movie hits Blu-ray and DVD on October 18th.

I am really lookin forward to this one. DC keeps knockin'em out of the park with their animated stuff. After this we should get The Dark Knight Returns. Then, after next summer, I can die happy.

I'm sure Anne Hathaway will make for a great live action Catwoman, but Dushku would have been amazing in the role. I'll definitely be loving her portrayal in Batman: Year One and the short that they have on the disc.

She seemed out of her depth in the show Dollhouse but if Eliza Dushku is given the right role, like Faith, she can be awesome.

Andrea Romano trully is a Voicecasting Goddess. I really haven't not liked a cast she's picked yet, sure I think someone may have done the role better before but I like hearing new takes on the characters and she does a great job of finding them. She's picked some consistant Batmen, and I loved John DiMaggio (bender Furutrama) as the Joker in "Under The Red Hood."
And Eliza Dushku is F-I-N-E!!!

yeah she's beautiful - really excited for year one tho - i've enjoyed all of the dvd releases they've done so far and don't think this one's going to be any different
