New ICE AGE: CONTINENTAL DRIFT TV Spot Parodies THE DARK KNIGHT RISES

Scrat's nutty pursuit of the cursed acorn, which he's been after since the dawn of time, has world-changing consequences - a continental cataclysm that triggers the greatest adventure of all for Manny, Diego and Sid. In the wake of these upheavals, Sid reunites with his cantankerous Granny, and the herd encounters a ragtag menagerie of seafaring pirates determined to stop them from returning home.

Ice Age: Continental Drift will hit theaters this Friday, while The Dark Knight Rises opens on July 20th.

Same. Every bad cinema experience I ever had involved a crying baby or a talkative kid.

I think these movies are a lot of fun, but I hope this is the final one. The magic is starting to wear off, and the jokes are getting to be hit and miss. Though, I can see another one or two being developed if this one is as successful as Dawn Of The Dinosaurs (if not more successful).

@ scrappybuttons - when people cease to go see it. These movies have made huge amounts and they are actually pretty entertaining.

@Sabconth At my screening of Watchmen a few years ago someone brought in a 4 year old and in the way in said: "You'll like it, it's about Superheroes like Spiderman". That poor child...

Its true. This s.hit will finally die when we stop paying for it. Problem is it'll never stop because adults like cheap, easy, brain dead entertainment for their kids. So just because they're kids means 90 percent of their entertainment must be trash? wtf. Kids arent that stupid, I remember crap like this from when I was a kid and even then was able to recognize it was alomost embarassingly bad...I worked at a theater when I was a teen and was consistantly bummed when every ice age or madagascar was a packed house...please dont spend your money on s.hit people. Demand better for your kids. Better yet, dont even take them to the movies until they're old enough to not cry during the show. Soon they can grow up and decide for themselves what is good.

Ive seen this, as its been previewed for two weekends now in the uk cuz its been making such a good profit for a weekend release, at the cinema i work at it was doing better than spiderman that was a little disheartening to me. This film was fairly enjoyable but this franchise has now pretty much given everything it has to offer the original ice age is the only one of great story and quality the others were just enjoyable kids flcks. If you had to go with family or kids though its fun enough and not boring, 3D was very good.

Also extra reason to see it before the film is a 4 minute Simpsons short, a silent short with maggie in daycare, now that was funny and showed that the main creators of the simpsons who made this still have some originality in them, id like to see more of those.
