Superman/Batman: Public Enemies is based on the popular Jeph Loeb/Ed McGuinness comic series/graphic novel. Bruce Timm (Superman Doomsday, Green Lantern) is executive producer. Michael Goguen (Justice League: The New Frontier) is supervising producer. Sam Liu (The Batman) is
directing a script written by Stan Berkowitz (Justice League: The New Frontier).

In the film, United States President Lex Luthor uses the oncoming trajectory of a Kryptonite asteroid to frame Superman and declare a $1 billion bounty on the heads of the Man of Steel and his “partner in
crime,” Batman. Heroes and villains alike launch a relentless pursuit of Superman and Batman, who must unite – and recruit help – to stave off the action-packed onslaught, stop the asteroid, and uncover
Luthor’s devious plot to take command of far more than North America.

"Superman/Batman: Public Enemies" features a star-studded voice cast filling the roles of super heroes and villains alike, including Kevin Conroy (Batman), Tim Daly (Superman), Clancy Brown (Lex Luthor),
Allison Mack (Power Girl), Xander Berkeley (Captain Atom), Ricardo Chavira (Major Force), John C. McGinley (Metallo), LeVar Burton (Black Lightning), CCH Pounder (Amanda Waller) and a host of others.

DDD i know I will... I check this site multiple times a day when work slows down... Will be fun to speak up every now and then. I have seen a few of DCs animation movies, but Public Enemies may be the first one I buy, although as I said I was not too impressed with the way the animation flowed. It was a little slow... I hope the rest of the movie moves better.

Welcome Dan, I'm also new too. This Movie is going to be awesome considering,Clancy Brown,Kevin Conroy, and Tim Daly are in this. They have been great actors in their roles and need to keep going for more of these movies.

Looks great. The animation could flow a bit better, but its still head and shoulders above Marvels output. Those voices are all important too. I can't see anyone else voicing those characters after the awesomness of the Justice League cartoons.

Justice League rocked! Looks like they went with a different look on Supes as well. Still looks like a cool flick! I've loved all the animated films that DC is putting out. Marvel's are ok, but these are much better. Now if they can can their live-action ducks in a row...

@Jay, Lex's voice is so deep 'cause Clancy Brown (The actor who is voicing Lex.) has a deep manly voice! Plus he is very tall at 6'4".

All the other Lex's have not been so manly and low in their voices. Clancy should play Lex in the live-action movies!

great lookin' story but I gotta say I liked the animation from the 90's superman cartoon ALOT better. Looks too 1950's.....and supes abs bother me.

HarrisonBergeron - 9/11/2009, 8:17 PM
The jumpiness of the animation is from youtube, I doubt it will be like that on the DVD.

Is this guy doing Lex's voice the same one from the 90s cartoon? The 90s one is my default Lex(like Conroy is Batman) with Marsters in second and this guy sounds just like the 90s voice.

Im with you on Clancy Brown as LL, DD. I think he would portray a Lex that I have been waiting so see on Big screen. DC animations have been getting better and better. Dooms Day, Wounder Woman, Green Lantern! Cant wait to see this one, I loved the graphic novel. Marvel has been doing much better as well. Dr.Strange, Hulk VS, and I cant wait for Planet Hulk. I hope a Spiderman is in the works.

"@ DDD, well i have to say its nothing like any other lex ive heard before. I wouldnt say it was horrible, it just really took me by suprise."

Im not sure what other voice actor U have been litsening to for the past 10 years or so, but Clancy has had the gig of Lex for quite sometime, unless he tweaked his technique and got lower and I just missed it. Clancy is the definitve Lex Luthor.

In the TV series, I really liked Malcom McDowells's voice as Metallo. His voice ranks up there with Clancy's and Keith's.
