Tim Drake is a beast, I haven't liked the direction of Damien as Robin.

Some of these animated movies are actually pretty solid! Still have to see Under the Red Hood.

The animation looks better than the last few movies but I really don't like this connected animated universe ey got going. The designs are ugly. I miss Bruce Timm. Can't wait to see the killing joke. Mask of the phantasm is the greatest Batman movie ever.

Don't like the direction they've taken Damien. Idk if ots the voice actor or....the character is just very annoying. I guess he's supposed to be that way. Always defensive and aggressive. A real brat.

We need more nightwing. Can't wait to see more of him

<3 Nightwing and the storyline by Grant Morrison that gives him a run as Batman. Looking forward to this!

Everything post "The Dark Knight Returns," with the exception of "Flashpoint" has just been awful. Hopefully the "Killing Joke" adaptation is a return to form for DC animation.

I loved the first few DC animated movies, right up to Red Hood.. and even then the next few were still decent. Lately they've really gone to shit though, with TDKR being the exception.

@CAPTAINPINKEYE

On a side note my favorite was Superman Doomsday... Was like a continuation of the Superman and JL Cartoons. I used to watch all of the JL and Superman cartoon series...

TIM DRAKE was NEVER ROBIN!!!

...or some such new 52 DC crap... who even cares anymore?

I need a scorecard, program and wikipedia to have a clue what the hell is going on in this new simplified universe.

Hm, just can't get into this one. Son of Batman was already awful, and the clips for this look a bit disappointing, animation is alright, the quality I'd expect from broadcast like Young Justice not a stand alone movie. Backgrounds are cheap and flat looking.
I'll wait for The Killing Joke.

Damian Wayne from these animated movies is one of my absolute least favourite characters. :(

@slickrickdesigns I had serious problems with Superman/Doomsday. The main problem is that they tried to fit a 3 year story line in an 80 minute movie. It would have worked much better as two parts or even three parts. The first part deal with Superman fighting Doomsday and "dying". Second part deal with the after math of his "death" and the appearances of Superboy, Steel and Cyborg Superman and of course part three with Superman returns.

@fadersdream yes he was Robin in the new 52. the batman family mythos didn't change.
fadersdream
fadersdream - 2/16/2016, 12:43 PM
@osideous - I wish... however it's unconfirmed and left somewhat ambiguous. The first year of 52 more or less explicitly said he had only been red-robin, but Snyder tossed in a couple asides to suggest otherwise... but that's more my point.

I'm not really trying to argue he never was Robin, but that the relaunch has only served to make the books even more confusing and the history debatable by the fans instead of creating a cohesive narative.
