Talking during today's Q&A for the Warner Premiere/DC Animation panel at the New York Comic-Con, Bruce Timm has revealed that there is currently no pressure from DC to include any of the changes which have occurred because of "The New 52" relaunch into any of their animated features. This is sure to come as a welcome relief to those of you who haven't approved of the various costume and characterization changes seen in the relaunch so far.
IGN Movies also point out that Timm mentioned the fact there's been talk of an adaptation of the Geoff Johns penned epic, "Blackest Night". Apparently, this is no more than "internal chatter" at this point and he refused to reveal any more details. In other news, he did offer an update on the animated version of Frank Miller's
The Dark Knight Returns, confirming that it's still on track for release in 2012 or 2013.
