Hanna Barbera’s Top Cat is going big screen and in 3D, released in September this year.

Bleedingcool got some posters of the movie which you can see below and its a Anima Estudios and Illusion Studios production, even though Bleedingcool found out neither company appears to have any reference to the Top Cat film on either website.





The film will be in Spanish, but it likely to be dubbed when released in the US and overseas.

I don't think they should make movies of classic cartoons they always end up sucking. Smurfs , Yogi Bear ... Scooby Doo yeah. Use the money to better cartoons suited to live action adaptations. Gargoyles would be nice to see so would Thundercats.

For once JUST once try to let go of your annoying need to be a critic JUST so that you can come off as looking smart and look at this with the eyes of a 10yr old.
I remember back when VCR's first came out my dad would record Top Cat and Ninja Turtles for me and promised me he'd lemme see it if I finished my homework fast.

To a 7yr old? That my friends was even better than the formula to MAKE gold.

I love Top Cat. Thank God this isn't another crappy CGI-cartoon movie. I hate those. -__- Can't wait to watch this! Top Cat was a classic. I watched it all the time as a kid. It was definitely one of my favorite shows growing up.

Oh so i change my comment. It might be decent enough. As long its not the CGI Cartoon / Live action hybrid that those other movies were.

@LEEE777 well the kids want some good cartoons. not like the crap infested cartoon network shows and other cartoons on these days.
