I can't watch USM because Spider-Man is such an asshole that I always end up rooting for the villains.

I wouldnt be surprised if The Amazing Spiderman 2 is leading up to a similar version of the Sinister Six. After all, 3 of those characters will already be in part 2.

Awesome clip! :)
I feel you guys just complain just for the sake of complaining. It's doing something different, and I applaud it for not rehashing old Spider-Man stories. :)

However, i agree with everyone. this show is pure sh!t

horrible wiritng, massive plotholes, horrible characterization, unfunny jokes, and list goes on.

easily the worst Spider-Man animated series for a looong time (if not ever)

WTF?! They change the design of every major super-villain in the Sinister Six, probably because they feel they look dated, but when it comes to Kraven...Nah, he looks fine?! Well if he looks fine then so did all the others!!! Updating for the sake of it = pants...

Spideyguy94@ The reason the 90's show is so much better to you is because YOU WERE A CHILD when it came out. Now, as the new show has come out, YOU ARE AN ADULT! Ever make that connection, bonehead?
Spideyguy94
Spideyguy94 - 2/14/2013, 11:58 AM
@NapalmdencH Yeah i did watch as a kid and i've also watched it as an adult and i still love it as well as spectacular and you know what, they can be enjoyed by adults, they are well written and smart enough and they have got some stuff younger kids won't get for adults to enjoy dickhead. Much like oh i don't know Batman TAS, Superman TAS, 90s X-Men, Wolverine And The X-Men, Batman Beyond and the 2 Justice League shows. Ultimate Spider-Man is a terribly written, unfunny, intelligence insulting pice of shit. And don't bring up the excuse that its for kids because so are every single show i mentioned before, and if it was supposed to be only for kids then why get all these big comic book writers like paul dini, joe casey, joe kelly and bendis? Also that's not spider-man that is in the show, its deadpool cosplaying as spider-man. And by the way if your judging my age by the 94 on my user name then your wrong. I'm 23 and the 94 on my user name is a tribute to my younger brother who was born in 94 but died shortly after being born.

Why is the Beetle in this Sinister Six line up? And where's the Goblin???

CANNOT believe that this crap show is still on the air. I used to have faith in DC, but all they've got now is BEWARE THE BATMAN & TEEN TITANS GO! Batman I will give a chance, but Titans will not even be recorded. Seems like both Marvel and DC are cursed with crap animation. At least DC has good DTV...

They killed Spectacular Spider-Man for this??? Hope it only lasts this season, because if TASM2 is drawing inspiration from this awful show... WE ARE DOOMED

TheSuperguy - 2/14/2013, 9:43 PM
Who even still watches this crap show anymore? I gave up halfway through the 1st season after I realized that SHIELD, White Tiger, Nova, Power Man, and Iron Fist were a PERMANENT thing. What was Marvel thinking when they let this abomination onto the public?

Spideyguy94@ Nobody assumed you were 94 and nobody made any mention towards you or your personal life.
I think what he was saying was that obviously you will still like the 90's show because you have a nostalgic connection to it. You really think you would like it as much if you saw it for the first time as an adult?
IronDean2099
IronDean2099 - 2/15/2013, 4:07 AM
Maybe stick to the topic, instead of trying to make yourself look like some kind of bullshit martyr just to 'win' an argument.
Spideyguy94
Spideyguy94 - 2/15/2013, 6:30 AM
@Irondean2099 I was sticking to the topic, but the way his statement is worded he's talking as if he knows me and he doesn't. People have assumed before I was 18 because of my user name and I've had to clear it up, and how would you know what age I am if I hadn't said before? As far as he knew I could've been 30 so assuming I was a kid when it came out is unfounded. I was actually dreading going back and watching it and when I did i found that it's much like spectacular in that the writing is very good and I noticed that for a kids show it gets to some really dark places. I wouldn't say something is good purely because of nostalgia, i liked x-men evolution as a 12 year old but i haven't gone back to watch it since so i cant say whether its good or not, I've gone back and watched things i thought where good when i was a kid before and when i watched i seen how bad they were i.e. spider-man unlimited. And I said give us something on par with the 90's show and/or spectacular. So clearly I've gone back and watched it going by that statement. And considering they are good kids show that can be viewed and enjoyed by adults and don't pander towards the lowest common denominator why can't they make something like that?
IronDean2099
IronDean2099 - 2/15/2013, 9:29 AM
@Spideyguy94 Have you (or anyone else, for that matter) ever considered that todays kids actually enjoy the show? I know it can be overly childish, but that's fine with me if it gets a whole new generation into Spidey that otherwise may not have.
Spideyguy94
Spideyguy94 - 2/15/2013, 10:26 AM
@IronDean2099 Yeah I get that kids love it and to be honest if I was still a kid I would as well. But as much as it is for kids, so is spectacular. They should make it a bit more for at least older kids because the highest age for kids watching this and enjoying it, is about 8. Older kids that are 10-13 will think this its stupid and too kiddy.
IronDean2099
IronDean2099 - 2/16/2013, 6:36 AM
@Spideyguy94 To be fair, the 10-13 and older will probably watch the movies as their main source of Spidey like us. And comics, although if you read those expecting real Spidey action you will be sorely disappointed whether you read read Ultimate or 616. Such is life.
