What I remember: The White Tiger was 3 magic amulets (Tiger head and 2 paws), which 3 guys used in augmenting their Kung-fu strength/skill/agility. They were called the Sons of the Tiger, a back-up feature story in that old black-and-white Deadly Hands of Kung-fu magazine. They parted ways and abandoned their amulets where an ordinary person (Hector I think was his name) found the amulets and when put together, he magically transformed into a super kung-fu hero named the White Tiger.

Later, I learned that he hung out with Spidey in the Spectacular series and then his family was killed and Hector abandoned the amulets.

So, when did the White Tiger powers or amulets found their way to this woman??? What happened to Hector? Was there a follow up to those first 3 guys that first used the amulets?

@HugeCapfan, I believe Hector was killed back in 2004. Ava is Hector's younger sister who took his amulets and became the new White Tiger. She made her first appearance in Avengers Academy about 6 months ago.

As for those other 3 guys, they've had very few appearances since the 70s. I think they've made less than 10 appearances in the last 16 years. Their most recent appearance was in some Wolverine titles.

Any reason why a show just about Spider-man is such a bad idea? Why do we have all these extra characters that are not interesting in any way. Seriously, I understand they want to sell toys and expand the Marvel universe, but give spidey his own damn show. Spectacular Spider-man was the perfect way to do a Spider-man show.

@RFBD That's what I've been saying since this show was announced. I think the only reason Marvel didn't want to continue TSSM was because they wanted to do something created by them, which in turn, means that we get a sup-par piece of crap.
