What to expect in Season 2 of Wolverine and the X-Men

Looks like were going to get to see a little more deadpool this time around.

As of now, season 2 is in production. 26 new episodes will be aired and it will focus on the Age of Apocalypse storyline of the comics. At the end of Season 1, we see Apocalypse entering a platform with Sinister and Cyclops (AOA version) beside him. During Comic Con 2009, Images of Season 2 were shown, consisting of Colossus, Magik, Deadpool and Havok. It was announced that these characters will appear in Season 2. Colossus will get a reintroductory storyline and will be a regular character in season 2.

Well i bought myself the whole season's metal collector's case this christmas and i've enjoyed it as much as Spectacular Spider-man. I've actually enjoyed it MORE than the 90ies cartoon. Not a million times more but a bit more. It's just fresher than the original. It takes a few different turns but manages to stick close enough to the original stories. Can't wait for season 2 and i hope they put out another metal collector's case ;)

I just saw Ironman Armored Adventures for sale but it was only the blasted ist "volume" of the first season. WHY THE [frick] MUST MARVEL ALWAYS DO THAT?!?!?!?!?! Can't you just put out the whole damn season in one case?!?!?!? Now i have to look at it everytime i go to the store to see if the whole season's out yet :((

Yeah I think its the best X cartoon yet. In fact, I'd say its the best cartoon Marvel have produced yet, including their movies! Its not quite up to JLU standards though.

The only thing i dont like about this show is the fact that its mostly about Wolverine. Wolverine was 1 of my favorite super heroes back in the day and still is, its just that I like seeing Wolverine as a loner more than a leader.

Luffy- Well, i feel that even though he is the leader, he still acts like a loner. That's pretty hard to pull off and yet, Marvel does it in spades!!!

I'm down to the last disc of the series and i'm not even mad at how Angel became Archangel. It was fine IMO. Can't wait to see what they have in store for the pheonix saga.

What i like so much about the show is that they are able to incorporate every classic story in one huge arc. The older series had everything separate which kinda lacked IMO.

Ummm... where are all the haters??? I thought for sure that most CBMers disliked this series... no?

90s Xmen cartoon remains the greatest in my mind. I have no trouble watching today or any other day.

Does anyone here really dislike this series?I'd be hard pressed to think of anything I find wrong with it.And Wolverine being the main character isn't a valid reason.

Probably the best was "Pride of the X-men". It had to be a series,but unluckely remained a pilot. Do you remember it?

Of course deadpool made the season two cut......He was in wolverine origins AND Hulk vs.........Honestly i would have been suprised if they DIDN'T put him in it.

I still haven't seen any Marvel cartoon series that is better X-Men 90's version. But I do enjoy this one.

kenny38606- It sure isn't in my book! Wolverine is a great hard headed/loner leader. He pulls it off nicely i find ;)

MisterFixit- I LOVED Pride of the X-Men!!! That was an awesome pilot!!! The only wrong thing about it was Wolvie's accent but i didn't care AND I'M CANADIAN LOL :P The animation is BY FAR my very favorite style!!! It's reminiscent of the Thundercats :))

I'm digging this cartoon, not too keen on the art style (not big on the wide shoulders skinny legs) but its still a fun cartoon. Particularly the Hulk episode and the Nightcrawler on the ship episode. Can't wait for season 2.

I want to know the date season 2 airs.

And I want Cyclops to be tough on Wolverine's ass because all Wolverine does for Cyclops was giving him the cold shoulder and stupidly attack him(which is not the X-Men's way) for releasing Emma Frost on "Foresight" part 1.

Great Googly Moogly!!! It's about time they got to work. Not sure how Dead Man Wade is gonna be utilized, but sweet score. Marvel just needs to kick off a Deadpool Animated Movie to get us ready. I vote Season 3 they Xavier is back to normal and Wolverine starts the current X-Force team.

I agree they gotta bring back Emma, but it would be difficult. I never thought I'd pick Emma over Jean Grey, but she's been awesome in the comics for the last 10 years or so.

Also, I can't see how Wolverine will still be the leader in season 2. With Jean back, I imagine Cyclops will get his balls back.

hopefully they'll do better in season 2
the first season wasn't the best
but i was satisfied with alot of
the cameos and how they were brought in
i liked Xmen Evolution better
so i hope the 2nd season will have more to offer
than emo Cyclops
and Leader Class Wolverine
maybe Cable?
that would shake it up a bit
HATED what they did with the Archangel storyline

DeMoNaSsDiZ: Definitely not a fan of how they did Archangel. I think the Sinister twist coulda worked really well, but it felt kinda rushed and forced. I've been hearing a lot of good things bout Spectacular Spiderman. I guess I'll have to check it out on "blue-pube" sometime soon.

Huh..I've only been able to catch a few episodes. I lost track, I will have to pick up season one. Hopefully I can catch season 2. Does it air on Cartoon Network? Btw the new Iron Man toon does suck and I'm not a fan of Superhero Squad or that damn Batman The Brave and The Bold.
