Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is shrouded in secrecy, though we do know that cameras are currently rolling on Peyton Reed's threequel. Plot details are few and far between; however, Jonathan Majors is expected to take centre stage as a Kang Variant (we just don't know which one).
In terms of the movie's cast, Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, and Michelle Pfeiffer are all expected to reprise their respective Marvel Cinematic Universe roles, while Kathryn Newton is set to take on the role of an older Cassie Lang. Oh, and we can't forget that all signs appear to be pointing to Corey Stoll bringing Darren Cross back from the grave as Yellowjacket.
Now, Cosmic Circus has pointed out that a listing on a casting website called Mandy.com has revealed that John Townsend has been enlisted as a double photo on "Dust Bunny."
As for who he's set to double for, it's reportedly Ghostbusters legend Bill Murray!
Nothing is confirmed at this stage, but it does seem likely that Murray may have landed his first Marvel Cinematic Universe role in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. Reed's previous social media activity has pointed to him being a huge fan of the actor's and after enlisting Mark Hamill for The Mandalorian, the filmmaker is certainly no stranger to working with icons.
When it comes to who Murray is playing, you guess is as good as ours. It could be as a newly created character or someone from the comic books, but it may be a while before we learn more.
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is set to be released on February 17, 2023.
