ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Behind-The-Scenes Photos Reveal New Shots Of Ghost, Jimmy Woo, & Janet van Dyne?
A ton of never-before-seen behind-the-scenes photos from Ant-Man and the Wasp have made their way online, featuring fresh looks at Scott Lang, Hope van Dyne, Luis, Ghost, Sonny Burch, and Jimmy Woo!
Over the weekend, thanks to a generous Twitter user, a ton of new behind-the-scenes stills from Marvel's Ant-Man and the Wasp were released online. The true origin remains unknown at the moment, but all the new images seem to be screenshots from a yet-to-be-released featurette and/or from some sort of extended B-roll footage.
The new photos give us fresh shots of Ant-Man and the Wasp as well as new looks at allies and villains alike, including Luis (Michael Peña), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Sonny Burch (Walton Goggins), Jimmy Woo (Randall Park), and quite possibly, Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer)!

Walton Goggins (Vice Principals) plays Sonny Burch, a character that's simply been described as a low-level criminal-type. While neither trailer has spent much time with the villain, we do at least know that he'll be crossing paths with Giant Man (Paul Rudd) in one of the film's earliest action sequences.
Our first real look at Jimmy Woo (Randall Park), who we believe is working for S.H.I.E.L.D. during the film, but considering the organization has essentially been operating on the sidelines since the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, it wouldn't be a stretch to assume that he's actually there as a representative for Thaddeus Ross (William Hurt), sent to check in on Lang during the hero's house arrest.
However, if he is indeed working for S.H.I.E.L.D. like his comic book counterpart, could this shot be our first indicator that he may be the Marvel Cinematic Universe's new version of Coulson (Clark Gregg)?
Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) up to his charming old tricks as he greets Cassie (Abby Ryder Fortson), Maggie (Judy Greer), and Paxton (Bobby Cannavale). With The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) now in the picture, it remains to be seen how exactly her positive influence in Scott's life will affect Cassie and the rest of Lang's extended family.
Luis (Michael Peña) is back to steal the show and while the recently released theatrical trailer may have revealed that he and his crew have gone legit since the events of the first film, we can probably expect him to be among the first to leap back into action when Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) needs his help.
The end of Ant-Man saw Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) strike up a relationship, but it remains to be seen whether or not they're still going strong after Scott's solo excursion in Captain America: Civil War. Regardless, here's a fun shot of the two sharing a laugh.
Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) shows off his mad drumming skills. While we don't know exactly when this scene will take place, we can probably assume that it takes place early on as we get acquainted with a post-Civil War Lang as he adjusts to his new life under house arrest.
Is this our first look at Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) in her original Wasp suit or is it just Hope (Evangeline Lilly) testing out her mother's old suit? Only time will tell, but it does look like Janet will have a much bigger role to play throughout the sequel than we've been led to believe.
Here's another, much better, shot of the original Wasp suit, which has some extremely similar characteristics to Scott Lang's (Paul Rudd) current costume, but it's still hard to tell whether that's Janet (Michelle Pfeiffer) or Hope (Evangeline Lilly) on the inside. Considering we are seeing the actor perform a stunt, there's a decent chance that it's actually a stunt double wearing the suit in this shot, which isn't particularly helpful as we try to determine whether or not the original Wasp will be fighting alongside her daughter in the upcoming movie.
Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and the Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) race into action as we are treated to a stellar new look at their flashy new costumes. Both heroes will play a vital role in saving the day and are expected to have big parts to play next year when they join the Avengers in still still-untilted fourth installment.
Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) lands a kick on the extremely dangerous Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), whose powerset includes the ability to phase, so this kick may not end particularly well for our bite-sized hero. While rumors have pointed to a possible connection between her and Bill Foster (Laurence Fishburne), it remains to be seen whether the film will actually follow through.
After Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) falls short, it's up to The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) to go toe-to-toe with Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), which seems to be going a little better since it looks like they'll actually exchange blows.
Yup, The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) delivers a strong hook to Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen). While we don't know the villain's true identity, it looks like her rivalry with Hope may be very personal as she did steal Hank Pym's (Michael Douglas) tech to build her phasing suit.
A behind-the-scenes shot of one of the many sets. Could this be a look at how Peyton Reed brought the Quantum Realm to life?
Anonther cool behind-the-scenes shot of one of the many very impressive sets. We can probably assume this is for a scene requiring our heroes to shrink down to microscopic levels.
Due to his exclusion from Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) is one of the few Marvel heroes that we know survived Thanos' (Josh Brolin) snap. It remains to be seen exactly how he'll factor into next year's sequel, but expect him to play a big part as he teams with Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) to save the universe.
Like her partner-in-crime, The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) will also have a big role to play in next year's Avengers 4 and while Lilly has described her role as small, it's likely that there's more to her part than meets the eye. Also, an old Avengers 4 set photo did reveal Lilly sporting her old Ant-Man wig, so could the 2019 sequel see our heroes return to the events of the first Ant-Man?
As part of their annual Summer Movie Preview, Entertainment Weekly shared this shot a few weeks ago, but now Marvel Studios has officially released the photo is beautiful hi-resolution. Check it out above as Ant-Man (Scott Lang) and the Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) fly into action alongside a new ant friend.
Another previously released still has been released in ultra hi-resolution featuring Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and the Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) looking very concerned as they enter a new scene. Catch the movie in theaters July 6.
