ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Cast List Reveals Another Villain - MAJOR SPOILERS

The official cast list for Ant-Man and The Wasp has been revealed and we now know that we should expect to see another comic book villain make their presence felt in the sequel. Find out more here...

With Ant-Man and The Wasp just weeks away, more and more details about the movie are being revealed. Today, we have a full cast list and there's a lot here to talk about. For starters, it's now clear that we can expect to see some flashbacks to Hank Pym, Janet Van Dyne, and Bill Foster's younger days, while Hannah John-Kamen's Ghost now has a first name: Ava. However, that doesn't tell us much!

What is, however, extremely interesting is the fact Michael Cerveris will be playing Elihas Starr. The actor played Professor Pyg in Gotham and other recent credits include The Tick and The Good Wife.

As you may or may not know, Starr's alter-ego is, in fact, Egghead. One of Ant-Man's biggest villains, he's been around since the 1960s and is a scientist obsessed with understanding Hank's technology and attempting to figure out what makes the hero tick. He's often tried to steal the hero's work so it would definitely make sense for him to be revealed as Ant-Man and The Wasp's true big bad, right?

We don't know for now but director Peyton Reed has teased there being another villain so it's entirely feasible this could be the case. Either way, it will definitely be a cameo appreciated by comic book fans.

There's also a Catherine Starr on the list, I bet Ghost will be their daughter looking for some kind of justice

Egghead though...? Really? Is there anyway to make a villain called “Egghead” cool?

@WruceBayne - A lot of comic book movie characters don't use their comic names. They'll probably just call him by his real name, or just make a joke out of it like Taserface.

@WruceBayne - Vincent Price did a halfway good job if you're into the late Price stuff... except for the astounding racism of the plot...

@WruceBayne - Egghead (sort of like Poindexter) can also refer to someone who is extremely intellectual and out of touch with reality. If he gets name dropped itll probably be in that context.

@WruceBayne - Elias Starr was a government scientist that got caught smuggling top secret blueprints to the black market. The media/news actually dubbed him the "Egghead". It's not a name he chose for himself.

@Toecutter - Egghead was a name that the news media labeled him after he was jailed for selling government blueprints to the black market.

Egghead was involved in a storyline where Goliath identity was assumed by..........Clint Barton (!).......that would be quite the curveball.

@Rosraf - It would be interesting for sure, but I think it's more likely that Ghost/Ava is related to the Starr's (or Foster).

The extra villain should be a kid with a fly swatter while their suits are malfunctioning.

Possible spoiler:

If you look at the soundtrack listing, the last two songs (which means they're likely to be played during the credits) are "First of the Gang to Die" by Morrissey and "La Cucaracha". We know from a recent trailer that Morrissey ties into Luis's character. Does this mean Luis is gonna die? Am I reading too much into it?

Is nobody noticing the roles of young Hank, Bill, Jane, Hope, and AVA AKA GHOST. Seems like her being Bill's daughter is more and more a real possibility.
