FAN ART: This New ANT-MAN Poster Should Be Official
"Heroes Don't Get Any Bigger" - Check out Rob Csiki's latest work which serves as a much better poster for the forthcoming Ant-Man movie than what was officially released by Marvel/Disney.
Marvel Studios and Disney have been receiving flak for their somewhat generic theatrical posters for some time now, and the recent one-sheet for the upcoming Ant-Man doesn't do much to dispel that criticism. Which is why fanboy artist Rob Csiki, whose amazing work we've featured before, has returned with his very own (and very awesome) poster for the new Avenger's big-screen debut.
It may not show off the great ensemble cast of Ant-Man (beyond the top and billing block) as the official theatrical poster does, however, this incredible work of art by Rob Csiki does a better job of utilizing and showcasing the titular superhero's shrinking abilities. So, perhaps it would serve as a much better teaser poster than what was released at the beginning of the year. What do you think?
Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world. Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man stars Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Corey Stoll, Evangeline Lilly, David Dastmalchian, Michael Pena, Bobby Cannavale, Abby Ryder Fortson, Judy Greer, Wood Harris John Slattery and Gregg Turkington with multi-hyphenate T.I., and the film opens July 17, 2015
