In addition to new images from Ant-Man, the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly also features new concept art and character details. "[Darren Cross] was this child prodigy that Hank Pym nurtured," said Corey Stoll of his character who later becomes the Yellowjacket (pictured right). "He started to become aware of this fabled technology that can shrink people to half an inch. Now he's discovered his own version of that technology-which has a psychotic effect on people if they use it too much." It's also revealed in the magazine that Scott Lang's allies are portrayed by Clifford "T.I." Harris (Dave), Michael Peña (Luis), and David Dastmalchian (Kurt), whom he meets in prison early in the film. Though the trio are not based on characters from the comics, Harris says they all play a major role in Ant-Man. "We are the team that makes up the Ant-Man crusaders, if you will," said the rapper/actor.

Anyhow, be sure to see the newest stills from Ant-Man here! And check out more official concept art by Rodney Fuentebella that showcases Scott Lang's ant's-eye view. What do you think?

Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world. Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man stars Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Corey Stoll, Evangeline Lilly, David Dastmalchian, Michael Pena, Bobby Cannavale, Abby Ryder Fortson, Judy Greer, Wood Harris John Slattery and Gregg Turkington with multi-hyphenate T.I., and the film opens July 17, 2015

I remember how much I loved 'Honey I Shrunk The Kids' growing up. Just the idea of being that small and the visuals that went with it were so cool to me.

I'm excited for another film like that, and I'm sure this will be a hit with kids.

Every time I remember that T.I is in this film, my hype dies a little bit.

YellowJacket is looking cool like always.

That bath concept art looks great. Can you imagine how horrific a clump of bath pubes would look at that scale?

gliderman- id rather not because i really like wasp but it would be diffrent to see a hero become a villian "you either die a hero or love long enough to see yourself become the villian".

if that happens maybe instead of becomeing stature cassie lang could become the next wasp? just a random thought.

I'm excited as hell for this movie but IDK how it's going to fit with the big Marvel story arc of the other movies. Like is Ant-Man really going to be involved with Thanos and the Infinity Stones? This movie just kind of seems like it will be it's own "one shot" if you will. I think to have Ant-Man even factor in slightly and hold his own in a world with Thanos/Avengers/Etc he will have to eventually become Giant Man/Goliath and I just don't see that happening in this movie. Add to that the fact that there are no other Ant-Man titles slated for release before Infinity War I don't see how he will be part of the team. Plus on top of all that they seem to be taking Ultron away from his story entirely (possibly an AOU link to Pym as the creator of the "peace keeping program") So this story seems so far removed from the main MCU it's slightly scary. I hope we get a badass Ant-Man movie and somehow he shows up in Infinity War/AOU? to help the team out.

echinsuocha- i think ant man will show up in civil war and i wouldent be surprised if he appears in infinity war. i imagine he will get a costume upgrade at some point he could even use the yellowjacket suit at the end of the film. and they are tieing antman into the MCU in other ways like with agent carter who apparently appears in a flash back.

The Yellowjacket helmet, the eyes especially, look like one of the versions of Ultron
