I'm really excited about this, I hope they haven't spoiled the two big credits scenes at the end with these tv spots. Or was that reveal about the new avenger one of D:?

"my favorite superhero movie ever" if at least one professional critic think this, then there should at least be some credibility that it is a the very least a good film, so screw that Mike sampson guy who said on twitter that it fails on all levels!

@Maximoff

I dont know what to tell you, because this movie is the story of the beginning of Scott Lang like Ant Man, but again Wright vision was change and his more "indie" kind of phase 1 film was modified.

And Scott Langs always make team with somebody in the comics, so it will be not strange that Lang end up in some mision with 1 or 2 Avengers to find another person.

and someone said this for the user review on rotten tomatoes: "I was lucky enough to see the world premier in LA. The movie was absolutely amazing. Go see it!" and this was on imdb: "This movie is incredible. A ton of fun with brilliant action and hilarious dialogue this is another fantastic win for Marvel. Paul Rudd plays a likable and charismatic hero who really makes you root for him and his goals. Michael Pena is the real heist of this film as he steals every scene that he is in. Corey Stoll as the villain was a fantastic choice from Marvel. He can play the corporate business man and an intimidating villain. The visuals are stunning in this film. All of the tiny ant scenes are visually outstanding and hilarious. The are two post credit scenes which are fantastic and really tie into the larger universe. Ant Man is a fantastic movie which is worth your money and I suggest that you see it in cinemas." There also was a critic review but it was translated from a different language so it looked awful but he gave the film 8 out of 10.

Well, this has jumped up from a "might skip" to a "read reviews first".

@Jeight

Funny that you use those movies to suit your own mindset and back your own lukewarm perception about those movies.

First of all, none of those movies got those kind of reviews early on but were prety divisive from the get go.

Second movies like the Winter Soldier and GOTG got early reviews that are more akin or more closer to what i have been reading related to Antman.

Finally, it's all a matter of personal perception and i don't know why you constantly had to rain on people's parade concerning the good feeling they have about tha movie as if your feelings about it was more valid than theirs.

Maybe, but those other movies you mentioned, were not getting reviews like this so early....

Not to mention James Gunn praising the movie as well

The majority of the audience gave MOS $668m and one of the highest home releases in 2013. And the impetus for an entire DCCU.

So yeah, "it didn't turn out great"... Of course it didn't. Of course.
