AQUAMAN: Come Get Your First Look At Jason Momoa's Massive Sea Dragon In A Ferocious New Photo

Double entendres aside, James Wan's upcoming Jason Momoa-led DC adventure, Aquaman, is going to feature sea dragons - and they're f**king massive. Come get your first look at the underwater beasts now!

As Entertainment Weekly's pre-SDCC coverage continues, they've just debuted a ferocious first look at concept art for a sea dragon in James Wan's upcoming DC Films adventure, Aquaman.

According to their report, the gigantic sea dragons will be the primary modes of transportation for the people of Xebel, one of the seven underwater kingdoms of Atlantis. King Nereus (Dolph Lundgren) is their leader and Mera (Amber Heard) is one of their top warriors - and probably the reason why Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) pays them a visit.

Everyone involved with the production is choosing to stay quiet about whether or not Curry will be seen riding one of the majestic beasts, but producer Peter Safran does offer a slight tease, more or less suggesting that the titular hero will indeed mount a sea dragon before the credits roll. “The idea was to turn on its head the idea of Aquaman riding a seahorse, take something for which he was mocked and turn it into something terrifying and impressive.
He’s a Xebellian creature but I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw Arthur on one at some point…

Plus, here's a new look at Aquaman's alternate suit:

Arthur Curry learns that he is the heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, and must step forward to lead his people and to be a hero to the world.

Aquaman features:
Director: James Wan
Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman
Amber Heard as Mera
Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko
Patrick Wilson as Orm/Ocean Master
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as David Hyde/Black Manta
Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna
