AQUAMAN Gets Two New IMAX Posters That Implore You To Catch The Film On The Biggest Screen Imaginable
Following its first batch of reviews, Aquaman is shaping up to be the second-best reviewed film in the entire DC Films universe and now, IMAX has released two new posters for the Jason Momoa-starrer.
While reviews have been decidedly mixed (76% RottenTomatoes; 53 Metacritic), they have been leaning considerably more positive than the past few DC entries - save for Wonder Woman, of course - which should still bode well for its box office potential this coming December.
However, with both Sony's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Paramount's Bumblebee receiving widespread critical acclaim and Disney's Mary Poppins Returns opening two days prior, it remains to be seen whether the James Wan-directed underwater epic will be able to sustain its spot atop the box office through the new year after what's sure-to-be a monumental debut next weekend.
IMAX has now released a pair of new Aquaman posters, which implore fans to catch the film on the biggest screen imaginable and see up to 26% more picture.
From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be…a king.
