Fan Adds SPIDER-MAN To Best Scene In Latest AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Trailer

One clever fan has added Spider-Man to that awesome ensemble shot in the latest trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron, and it looks...spectacular! It's weird to think that this gif will become a reality around a year from now in Captain America: Civil War, eh? Check it out!

Earlier today, we brought you a selection of gifs featuring some of the coolest moments from the latest trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron. (check them out here if you missed them). Now, one fan (Neogaf user plainr_, via Uproxx) has added Spider-Man to perhaps the most awesome shot in the preview, and he fits right in, wouldn't you say? There has been speculation that the character will make an appearance of some sort in the sequel's after-credits scene, but it's more likely that Spidey will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe officially in Captain America: Civil War. Also below is a video from IGN which also inserts Spider-Man into the trailer! What do you think about this addition?

I'm actually against having Spider-Man part of The Avengers. The 'audition' sounded cool but I never dug the idea of him becoming a member.

Spidey always sticks out from the Avengers like he doesn't belong there to me.
Gif looks good though, but still that.

I remember getting pissed the [frick] off with the first Spider-Man game, you couldn't touch the damn ground! But man, did I love that game.

@BritishMonkey

That's the POINT. Spider-man is supposed to stick out. he's an outsider who always get's drafted into various teams and never quite fits in. It's the awkward dynamic of his comic sensibilities and how they never quite mesh with the serious nature of the groups he's drafted into that makes him so appealing.

Notice how he never takes his mask off when they are all hanging out together. He's usually hanging upside down while everyone is having a serious strategy meeting.

There's always that "Spider-man" moment when he disrupts a meeting with some off the wall comment.

The first Spiderman game on PS1 was amazing. You could actually use his Spiderman Unlimited suit and turn invisible. Plus the cameos from Captain America, Punisher, and Daredevil were awesome.

A little bit out of character for Spidey but I love when (I forget what issue) Booster Gold finally proves he's worthy to join the JLA and when they finally accept him he declines and says he only tried out to say he could reject the League's invitation.

I never played Batman & Robin but Batman Begins (PS2) is underrated IMO.

@0megaDaGod I agree and that's why it is by far my favorite incarnation of the Avengers. The banter between Luke Cage, Spidey and Wolverine was very funny.

In fact I'll go a step further and say Spider-man and Batman have suffered a very similar fate. Stuck in their isolated movie worlds, they have suffered by not having their fellow heros to play against. Just as Spider-man is made more interesting by his irreverence contrasting with the serious attitude of his team mates, so is Batman elevated by his apparent weakness in comparison to his super powered compatriots.
