Laziness. It's the same pose over and over again. You should watch the documentary "Drew: The Man Behind the Poster." They talk about this trend of laziness from Hollywood.

@Luminus--Laziness? That doesn't make any sense. It's cheapness. Studio execs don't do the artwork themselves, but they don't pay up for real artists either, or even for the time it takes to do an admirable Photoshop job. Not to mention the cost and time of doing more renders of a 3D model like Hulk. Nine times out of ten the artist who did the job probably hates the results, too, because they weren't given the time or freedom to be creative.

Don't assume the people in the graphics department don't want to do a good job, blame the people who only care about the bottom line and cutting costs.

Again, cheapness, not laziness.

@HarryBloodscreaming

That's right. Laziness. I hire artists all the time and I can tell you right now that it takes quite some time to go from idea to finished product and most of that effort is me directing the way the scene goes. You don't just tell an artist to draw a picture, without putting in some serious effort yourself, if you expect to get the results you want. And, for the record, I've had my fair share of lazy artists try to pull that laziness on me and I've called them on it every time. People are lazier than you think.
