'Thor' Is A Man Possessed In Shocking New AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Deleted Scene

The scene in the Norn Cave in Avengers: Age of Ultron felt very out of place, and this extended version of that is both considerably better and makes a lot more sense than the random visions the God of Thunder had in the theatrical cut. Hit the jump to check it out...

When Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) jump-starts a dormant peacekeeping program, things go terribly awry, forcing him, Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and the rest of the Avengers to reassemble. As the fate of Earth hangs in the balance, the team is put to the ultimate test as they battle Ultron, a technological terror hell-bent on human extinction. Along the way, they encounter two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Pietro and Wanda Maximoff.

Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Cobie Smulders, Don Cheadle, Paul Bettany, James Spader, and Samuel L. Jackson and hits DVD and Blu-ray next week.

Not fond of this one.

Lots of issues with Age of Ultron. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to enjoy it until I've got a few more MCU movies after it to provide context. Avengers and Iron Man 3 made Iron Man 2 much better in hindsight. I'm pretty sure Civil War and Black Panther may do the same for Age of Ultron.

Yep this was already posted with the last batch of deleted scenes. Still pretty cool and definitely something that should've stayed in. This is a case where the extra exposition would've actually helped.

"I'm not sure I'm going to be able to really enjoy it until..."

I mean. I did enjoy it overall. And I'm not sure a director's cut will fix the problems I've had with it. People treat director's cuts like they're some sort of magic wand to make a movie better, but Spider-Man 2 proved that wrong. We get it, Sam, you like long running jokes where Peter is being clumsy, holy shit can we just get on with the movie, please.

Very interesting stuff. The cinematography is really iffy, but I would've liked the scene to be included in AoU, if only to mitigate some of the pacing issues. As a big Thor fan, this is the kind of lore that grabs me.

Yea, this whole Norn cave scene should have been left out of the movie. It would have been much better to see the Norns in Ragnarok.

Hurm... I'm not too big a fan of that additional scene, but I feel they should have left it in the movie so that Selvig's presence makes any sense. Or, well, maybe just cut the whole cave thing. (*_*)'

IDK. I think they could have kept this scene, although I think it would have worked better if they had of made the Norns more like their traditional representation.

But oh well.

This should have been kept in the movie.

There are no such things as "director cuts" anymore.
