The Cosmic Circus' Alex Perez has shared some new MCU rumours, and while we'd suggest taking them with a pinch of salt—as usual, there's an element of educated guesses mixed in with possible scoops here—there's a lot to unpack.

Starting with Avengers: Doomsday, Perez says that Sue Storm's "experience in diplomatic relations with dignitaries will come in handy" while dealing with Namor the Submariner. However, her role in the movie may be far more impactful than that.

"Sue’s arc is a very interesting one to see develop. Mainly because Sue will be one of those few characters who's going to have a personal relationship with Doom and will understand what his motivation is," the insider explains. "And it’ll put her in the difficult position of trying to sympathise with her friend while also trying to protect her family."

At least part of the movie's reshoots revolved around adding an action sequence with Sam Wilson's Captain America, and Perez claims to have learned more about who Doctor Doom's three Latverian Witches are not.

"The Ancient One and Death are definitely not the Latverian Witches," Perez writes, debunking those reports. "Aside from the fact that the Ancient One is dead, Death simply doesn’t care, and she’d never willingly serve under someone. As for a hint under the identity of the Latverian witches, most of their identities have technically already been revealed."

He cryptically adds, "Who’s to say that these witches are who they say they are and aren’t actually just playing a very elaborate trick?"

Moving on to Avengers: Secret Wars, the scooper suggests looking to Jonathan Hickman's Avengers and Secret Wars comics for insights into who will be among the brainwashed barons serving Doctor Doom. He's also heard that Agatha Harkness is set to return in the movie.

Alien: Romulus star David Jonsson takes over as T'Challa (or Toussaint/T'Challa II) in Ryan Coogler's Black Panther 3, but how has he been aged up? Perez puts it down to "universe-reshaping shenanigans."

Finally, Rogue vs. Captain Marvel is "possible" for the post-Secret Wars MCU, Billy Maximoff/Wiccan will get a chance to shine in the Multiverse Saga finale, and VisionQuest will set the stage to assemble the Champions.

Again, all of these claims are best taken with a pinch of salt. Still, it won't be long until these MCU projects come along and we find out whether there's any truth to these and the many other rumours currently doing the rounds online.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released on December 18, with Avengers: Secret Wars scheduled to arrive on December 17, 2027.

Ancient One and Death never seemed likely to me.

@joevseveryone - My guess is Agatha, Wanda and Clea. I mean they're very witchy characters that have already been introduced in the MCU.

But probably uber-powered versions of Wanda and Agatha from other universes (since their MCU versions died).

Disney still trying to build up the young avengers, and although I’m sure there are tons of fan boys who won’t agree, Wiccan and Speed are D level characters no one cares about.

Just use Secret Wars to recast, and let’s get back to work with the big guns. We’ll finally have the X-Men in the MCU, now’s not the time to move on from Tony and Steve etc.

Then all that’s left is to buy Sonys movie division, and give us a proper Spider-Man vs Venom movie, without other cameos.

Crazy I know, a Spider-Man movie carried by Spider-Man.

"Finally, Rogue vs. Captain Marvel is "possible" "

If we get this and they properly portray Rogue's inner turmoil afterword, I can die happy. It can't just be some girl fight. It needs to be a major turning point for the character.

Since Anna Paquin's Rogue was introduced in the second scene of the very first X-Men movie, fans have been patiently waiting for her to get her Captain Marvel powers. Of course the Fox universe didn't have a Captain Marvel or a Ms Marvel. They could have introduced some other superman-level mutant whose powers Rogue could permanently absorb.

By the third movie she still didn't acquire these powers and it looked like it may never happen. Even in the 'Rogue Cut' of X-Men: Days of Future Past she didn't have them.

Then the MCU introduced Captain Marvel. And then in the next saga it reintroduced the FoX-Men. Now we have the original FoX-Men vs the MCU Avengers. Surely now we can finally FINALLY get this moment for the original cinematic X-Men. The moment that fans of the character have been waiting for since the introduction of Anna Paquin as a way too young, way too nerfed Rogue.

Nope.

@ObserverIO - watch them attempt it and just screw it up.

I doubt they’ll do it, but it would be very doable to see this in Secret Wars. Everybody’s already fighting everybody, Danvers could be hammering the X-Men and Rogue manages to get a hand in her, and then she kicks everyone’s trash. For me it would be as glorious as when Cap lifted Thor’s hammer in Endgame.

T Challa II being aged up due to Secret Wars soft reboot shenanigans seems obvious & makes sense…

Also I really do think/hope the 3 Latverian witches are just random extras who are a replacement for the Black Swan cult in the 2015 SW comic and not like Wanda , Clea & Sylvie brainwashed or corrupted.

Anyway , Sue’s diplomatic skills that were established in First Steps being utilized in this in regards to Namor make sense and i could see that being a reason that the latter becomes attracted to her (Shuri as we have seen in the trailers going with her makes sense too given her own history with the king of Talokan)…

Her apparent arc also sounds interesting since as established in the trailer , atleast Reed & Sue seem to have a history with this Victor on their earth and we know this iteration of Doom according to the latter was once a kind & caring man that became broken after losing everything he cared about so now that both have a family of their own , it’s understandable that they would try to reach out to their former friend but also deal with trying to take him down if he threatens their world & family!!.

All Alex Pérez said the last years are just guesses.

I honestly dont understand how some sites or Twitter accounts still believe he has any real inside info.
