Marvel fans haven't shied away from voicing their dislike for Star-Lord's action in Avengers: Infinity War but Chris Pratt is now doing his best to defend the character. For those of you who may not be aware, Peter Quill's emotional reaction to Gamora's death led to the hero attacking Thanos and stopping Earth's Mightiest Heroes from removing the Infinity Gauntlet from the Mad Titan's villainous grasp.

"Look – the guy watched his mother die, he watched as his father-figure died in his arms, he was forced to kill his own biological father," the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom star explained in a recent interview with Radio Times. "And now has suffered the loss of the love of his life. So I think he reacted in a way that’s very human, and I think the humanity of the Guardians of the Galaxy is what sets them apart from other heroes. I think if we did it a hundred times I wouldn’t change a thing."

As for whether or not things would have still panned out the way they did had Star-Lord kept his composure, he added: "I guess you could have the movie end a half hour earlier if you wanted, but it seemed like people really liked this. And also, I blame Thanos, OK? Jeez, how come he’s not getting any blame?" That's a really good point, right? Clearly I’m very sensitive about this," Pratt laughed.

While there's no denying that taking the Gauntlet from Thanos would have probably helped, there's nothing to say he wouldn't have got it back and an argument could be made that Thor is equally at fault for failing to put Stormbreaker through the villain's head! What do you think of Pratt's defence?
