Mark Ruffalo Teases An "Funny, Moving, And Epic" AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR And AVENGERS 4

It's already been revealed that we can expect a three movie arc for the Incredible Hulk through Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers 4 and Mark Ruffalo now drops some fresh details...

Mark Ruffalo gets a much larger role in Thor: Ragnarok as The Hulk due to the fact that the Jade Giant is finally able to speak and the plan is reportedly for the hero's story arc to continue into Avengers: Infinity War and its currently untitled sequel. That's exciting news, especially as the character won't be getting a solo movie any time soon and Mark Ruffalo has now shared some fresh intel on the movies.

Asked about what it's been like shooting the two Avengers movies with directors Joe and Anthony Russo (his first time working with the duo), Ruffalo had nothing but good things to say about them.

"It’s crazy. And it’s huge. And everyone’s in it. And it’s like this epic opera that spans time and space, with all of the Marvel characters in it. All nine franchises. I mean, it’s mind-boggling. Everyone has their moment to shine. Everyone is still their characters. Nobody feels like they’re doing any kind of exposition or having to push the story. It’s so well crafted. [Writers Christopher] Markus and [Stephen] McFeely smashed the script. And it has it all: it’s funny, moving… it’s epic. It’s a Russo brothers classic, like, balls to the wall, you know? It’s gonna be amazing. They’re so talented, and they’re great guys too."

That's high praise indeed and it definitely sounds like these movies will be firing on all cylinders. That's to be expected, though, especially as Avengers: Infinity War celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and brings together plot threads which were first introduced in The Avengers in 2012 (and arguably before that with Iron Man and Captain America: The First Avenger).

I enjoyed Hulks performance in Thor Rag. Wont spoil anything but will be interesting to see how he evolves moving forward. He's a stubborn SOB though ...and all things considered..that arena fight didnt need to happen the way it did. It could have been manipulated in way that would have made it more plausible...considering everything these guys have been through.

@Fogs - comedy is good when it feels authentic , not shoe horned. But thats none of my business *sips raspberry iced tea*

@Fogs - Funny in and of itself is not a problem. Iron Man was funny, Guardians was funny, Avengers was hilarious, Thor however seems to be less funny and more just overtly silly which i have an issue with but we'll find out for sure on Thursday

Oh no, the forbidden word "funny"

Man, Infinity War will be something special for sure. I know it's been said multiple times before, but it's crazy to think that we're actually expecting a trailer for Infinity War anyday now.
All I ask of Marvel now is a Logan-esque send off for Tony Stark. The character and actor deserves it.

I have total faith in Markus, McFeely and the Russo's. Haven't let me down yet. I hope everybody smashes it outta the park for A3 and 4.

And i agree with @dethpillow , nobody needs to die.

I'm not worried at all even with the "funny" word thrown in. The Russos, Markus and McFeely are the dream team. They know how to mix in humour, action and emotional bits very well and we've seen them do it twice. Plus the way they've characterised the Avengers and other characters they've worked with so far has been outstanding. I know Ruffalo works with Marvel so there's bound to be praise either way, but hearing it from him likes this just makes me more excited.

Bring it on!

Although I have lost much of the interest in the MCU with all the sh*t happening with MCU Spider-Man, not one second I think this universe is anything less than an extraordinary achievement.

Infinity War & Avengers 4 will be f*cking mind blowing.

Recently they changing MCU completly into comedy.Gouardians of the Galaxy 2 had already immature dumb jokes (farts, dicks) Thor is another,Ragnarok, people dying and jokes flying right and left....Its too much.
Even in civil war aiport fight was a joke.
