Just 156 days to go until the premiere of the highly anticipated movie event of 2018, Avengers: Infinity War. (Or if you're living in the States, that will be 165 days. You have my condolences, America.) But now that Thor: Ragnarok is in the rearview mirror, fans have been clamoring for the first official trailer more than ever.

Save for a few cryptic set photos, and the infamous Instagram post teasing fans with a plea for patience, the Russo Brothers, haven't given fans too many updates about the upcoming blockbuster, nor any information on a trailer.

Marvel fans must be forgiven for getting excited when a certain Redditor whets their appetite by leaking images from what appears to be the soon-to-be-released trailer for Infinity War, and now, the same Reddit user has delivered again with a partial description of the forthcoming trailer.

Keep in mind that this must all be taken with a grain of salt. As with most Reddit posts centered on leaks, there's a 50/50 chance of it being hogwash.

Warning! If you haven't seen Thor: Ragnarok yet (and if so, then what are you waiting for?!), potential spoilers ahead!

Loki gives the tesseract to Thanos to be spared when Thanos attacks Thor’s ship. Thor, Hulk, and co take on the the Black order while their ship tries to flee. The fight goes bad and Thor is left dangling in space until discovered by the guardians.

The collector’s place is raided and attacked by the black order. The guardians fail to stop them and the reality gem is brought to Thanos.

Thanos is missing the last and important gem, the soul gem. All the avengers assemble to protect it, which is inside Heimdall.

Awesome, right? Personally I think this raises more questions than it answers. If the soul stone is within Heimdall, then what stopped Thanos from getting it when he attacked Thor's ship? Sound off below and tell us what you think! Is this leak believable? What do you want to see in the upcoming trailer?

“As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment - the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.”
