Seth Rollins Wore Amazing Thanos-Inspired Ring Gear At Last Night's WWE SUMMERSLAM
Last night's WWE SummerSlam PPV kicked off with an instant classic featuring Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler and the former's ring gear clearly paid homage to Avengers: Infinity War's lead villain...
There are a lot of similarities between comic books and wrestling, with many wrestlers admitting that they're big superhero fans. Often, they show that by wearing ring gear inspired by some of their favourite characters and during last night's SummerSlam in Brooklyn, New York, Seth Rollins came out to the ring in an outfit which was clearly inspired by Avengers: Infinity War's big bad, Thanos.
As you can see, the boot Rollins uses to deliver his patented superkick and Curb Stomp finisher was decked out in gold as a homage to the Infinity Gauntlet, a clever idea and one that looks really cool.
The match itself - which saw Rollins battle Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship - was absolutely fantastic and gave anything on the NXT Takeover Brooklyn IV show a run for its money. Rollins ultimately emerged victorious and it will be interesting seeing how things play out on RAW tonight. What do you think about this Thanos-inspired ring gear? Share your thoughts down below.
