If you're even remotely excited for Avengers: Infinity War (and we're guessing you most definitely are), then the past two weeks have been pretty damn awesome. We started with Entertainment Weekly's in-depth look at the upcoming Marvel Studios movie and followed that with a series of set visit reports and a brand new trailer offering our most exciting look yet at Thanos' planned invasion of Earth.

Now, Empire is looking to get in on the action and a subscriber's only cover has been revealed which features a very stylish Infinity Stone themed take on Thanos courtesy of artist Orlando Arocena.

It would be no bad thing for us to get some character posters similar to this but bear in mind that this piece of artwork has been designed specifically for the magazine, so that seems unlikely. However, the issue is no doubt going to feature plenty of never before seen stills and details about the threequel!

@incredibleTalk - That guy did that with the intention of getting everybody to unite and shake their body down to the ground. The big purple dude's intention is and I quote "to the paint the stars in their blood."

Awesome. For once they did it right, and thankfully there isn't any damn text covering it all up.

@Scarilian - Marvel don't tell Empire what to put on their covers.

That is 100% Empire Art Work

Might be just me, but it looks like they just put the Comic Con Thanos poster through one of those Prisma filters. Looks cool, but still.

Yeah, i think the colours just looked clearer on that version. The power stone still seems off to me in that image, might just be me. Just does not look as dark purple as the stone in the movie or trailer. They may have altered it slightly for the poster to make it stand out more as blue and purple next to each other does not create the best visual flare.

@Scarilian - why did you delete your comment?

@HeavyMetal4Life -
One of the users commenting is a rather vile troll who has been banned twice now, they made a new account three days ago and have been stalking me claiming i'm sexist. They'll be banned again, they always do, but in the meantime easier removing the comment stream to get rid of that stuff.

Besides, rest of the comments were basically just saying i was colour blind, so perhaps it is just me seeing things :P I just think it looks slightly different compared to how the stone should appear. This image below looks like the normal colour of the stones for me.
