It Sounds Like Benicio Del Toro Will Return As The Collector In Marvel's AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR
As the old saying goes, the more the merrier. It seems as though Josh Brolin may have accidentally revealed that his Sicario co-star Benicio Del Toro will be joining him in Avengers: Infinity War!
Avengers: Infinity War is a few weeks into filming, and even though Marvel has yet to issue an official press release, we've been receiving plenty of juicy updates from the cast of the massive film. This latest piece of news comes to us from Josh Brolin, the actor who will breathe life into the film's big bad, Thanos.
In a recent live stream on his personal Instagram account, the Academy Award-nominated actor let it slip that he would soon be shooting scenes with three Guardians of the Galaxy stars: Chris Pratt (Jurassic World), Zoe Saldana (Live By Night) and Benicio Del Toro (Sicario). While Pratt & Saldana had been confirmed to appear long ago, this was the first such mention of Del Toro being involved with the two-part Infinity War.
To add fuel to the fire, not long after the initial news broke Del Toro was photographed in Atlanta, which is where Infinity War & Black Panther are both currently filming. There is a possibility he could be in town for something Black Panther-related and/or possibly to meet with Brolin before they begin work on the upcoming Sicario sequel, Soldado, but the mention of both Pratt & Saldana seems to suggest he's really in town to cause trouble for the Avengers.

How big of a threat does Thanos pose, you ask? Big enough to span two epic films, beginning with Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War Part 1” on May 4, 2018, and concluding in Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War Part 2” on May 3, 2019 for one massive cinematic event.
“We’ve always had a plan since Nick Fury broke into Tony Stark’s house and told him he’s part of a bigger universe," recalled Feige. "'Avengers: Infinity War Part 1' is the beginning of the culmination of everything that has come before."
