Hot Toys is proud to present the collectible figure of another superhero from the Marvel Studios - the 1/6th scale Thor Limited Edition Collectible Figurine from the upcoming The Avengers movie. The movie-accurate collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Chris Hemsworth as Thor in the movie, highlighting the newly developed head sculpt, muscular body, highly detailed costume, accessories and weapon. The Thor collectible stands approximately 32 cm tall, which is closer to the 1/6th scale of the movie character.

Marvel's The Avengers picks up when an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security. And Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. With director Joss Whedon at it's helm, and an ensemble cast including Chris Evans (Steve Rogers), Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark), Chris Hemsworth (Thor Odinson), Jeremy Renner (Clint Barton), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner), Scarlett Johansson (Natasha Romanoff), Clark Gregg (Agt. Phil Coulson), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), with Tom Hiddleston (Loki), and Stellan Skarsgard (Professor Erik Selvig), the film releases worldwide May 4, 2012!

Saw the movie a couple of weeks back (I'm Australian) and yes, it's awesome (Understatement).

This Thor figure is much better than the one released for his solo movie, but I'm disappointed there's no bare arms or capeless options.

"The movie was OK. But the costumes were terrible, especially Cap and Thor"

Cap? Maybe

Thor? Get the [frick] out of here

HOLY [frick]ING SHIT!!!!!!!! This is the greatest movie I have ever seen! We always say "stick close to the source material" Joss made these characters as close to their comicbook counterparts as possible. Nolan hands down made an awesome Batman movie but Whedon made an awesome Avengers Comicbook movie, it's like it jumped of the page! Hulk & Thor fighting......MARVELOUS!!!

Ok???? Ok was Green Lantern, Ok was Daredevil, There was not 1 minute of that movie that was wasted RD jr. will get some kind of award nod for this I promise you.

Well, I thought it was pretty cheesy and formulaic, but it was still a really fun film. Award Worthy? Not really. And sure to some it may seem like it's the perfect Comic movie, but I implore you to pick up something Stan Lee and Jack Kirby made and tell me if it's as predictable as this was. It was a great film, but it was no where near perfect and it had the potential to be so much better.

Just if it had the sleeveless armor, I'd totally want it. Not that this one's bad, though, just...the sleeveless armor is damn cool, lol. Hasn't this armor been used for the figure from his solo movie, anyway?

Not that I'll be able to afford it (or any other Hot Toys figure), either, though!

I saw the Avengers last night and all I can say HOLY CRAP WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST SEE THAT MOVIE BLEW ME AWAY. Freaking HULK VS THOR almost destoyed the IMAX screen I was there with my 9 year old and when I looked down and saw the AWE AND HAPPINESS in his face I wanted to cry. Everybody needs to stay for the very end credits scene IT WAS THE MOST EPIC END CREDIT SCENE EVER BESIDES NICK FURY ANNOUNCING THR AVENGERS ANITIATIVE ( damn I didn't spell that right).

Natetrix79 - 5/4/2012, 7:57 AM
Cheesy & Predictable my ass! In this day & age with bootlegs & spoilers (I already knew about the end credits scene & it still knocked my hat 5 rows back!) the movie was not predictable. Did you think the "Avengers" we're going to fail??? Does any superhero "Not" win in the end of their own movie??? I guess Bane's "Not" gonna break Batmans back & he won't "Rise" to stop him & Spiderman is gonna "Not" kick the Lizard's ass at the very last second & he "Won't" be amazing.........OMG did I "Predict" the endings OH NO!
