Avengers Trailer. I'm calling it now.

Hellsing - 6/15/2011, 10:17 AM
a trailer no I very much doubt that, they're still going to be shooting filming finishes round September I believe. Pretty sure we'll see some sort of footage though I mean they only started shooting Cap a week before Comic con and they showed a scene with Red Skull. Hopefully its the avengers all meeting each other for the first time. Can't wait to see Tony Starks reaction to Thor's "costume".

@marvel72 obviously DC are gonna be there its called COMIC-con. WB if rumours are to be believed we certainly won't see there film division but there tv department. And GL has gotten bad reviews but that doesn't necessarily mean its going to do bad in the box office. If it bombs then thats a different story.

I think they should have enough footage to put together a good tease for Avengers.

By Comic-Con, they would have been filming nearly 3 months. That's a long time.

Oh, there will be footage. Last year at Comic-con they showed footage from Cap and it had only be filming for 3 weeks.
Altair
Altair - 6/15/2011, 11:15 AM
Cap had been shooting a week last year and there was footage. Avengers has been shooting for two months? Is that right?

Amazing spider-man has finished filming and test footage has been screened at Sony.

We'll see footage for both.

Thank God. I would say that we will see a teaser trailer of the Avengers. A banner with all the Avengers and their updated costumes and a trailer for the Amazing Spiderman.

there was good footage shown the year before iron man and iron man 2 came out, huge new footage the year before thor was released... I'm sure we'll see some avengers stuff and it will be mind blowing!

They might hold back some stuff from Comic Con still... as I recall, Disney has their own yearly convention and they probably wouldn't mind drumming up some more major press at that with a few big Avengers announcements.

Altair - 6/15/2011, 11:57 AM
@arminies totally right. Apparently the footage was amazing (did I really just say that?). Can't wait to see it. Not to mention a lizard reveal, simillar to red skulls reveal in the super bowl or venoms in sm3. Just a small glimpse, to give us an idea.

Knew they wouldn't let this slide by and not say something.

This is the audience they primarily cater to!!!!!!!

Good thing to, I'm going to SDCC for the first time this year and would've been royally pissed if I did't get anything avengers related.

@ hellsing

i'm just saying it hasn't been a good year for dc entertainment.

-smallville season 10 the season was abit of a letdown.

-wonder woman cancelled before the pilot even airs.

-52 issue ones getting mixed reactions from the fans.

-green lantern getting mostly bad reveiws, which may effect overall box office takings.

they will have footage no doubt! its gonna be The SH!T!
VicSage

I seriously can't believe fans would think that the Big Two would sit out of the biggest comic book convention of the year.. -__-

Secondly, I doubt there will be any real substantial Avengers footage. Sure they showed Thor footage last year, but that was because Thor started shooting early January and Comic Con isn't until July!! That's 5-6 months of filming and enough time to edit a quick trailer. But Avengers just starting shooting late April of this year. If anything, they've only had a 1 1/2 of filming.

If anything we'll get 30-45 seconds of footage over some Nick Fury dialogue or some courageous, heroic battle cry.

As far as Warner Bros./DC is concerned and about The Dark Knight Rises and The Man of Steel... don't expect anything from the latter until NEXT year's Comic-Con. Filming hasn't even started for SUPERMAN!!! In the case of The Dark Knight Rises, we might get a huge kickoff to some cool viral campaign other than the #TheFireRises and the Bane photo. Remember the 2007 Comic - Con? No crazy TDK footage. Just that teaser trailer that the Avengers copied off of... then again, there were all those crazy people running around with Joker makeup for the start of the year long viral campaign. So, expect that over some footage guys.

Maybe we will have some shots of the latest Hulk design.

I hope we see DC in a different light after Green Lantern opens this weekend.

People who enjoy SDCC better show Marvel some love or they may follow DC out the door 2012. Learn to hold complaints till after you have actually seen a movie.

@ TheGODDAMNSUPERGUY
each to their own but haven't you seen 5 superman movies and 6 batman movies? to label spider-man as 'been there done that' but show enthusiasm for batman/superman is a little strange.

anyway like I said, each to their own.
Hellsing
Hellsing - 6/15/2011, 3:11 PM
@Marvel72 relax dude I am not defending DC. But pretty sure there gonna be there drumming up interest.

@TheGODDAMNSUPERGUY lol its funny how your getting excited for Bats when he's not going to be there Nolans secretive guy so your not going to see anything from Batman. and "been there done that" shouldn't you apply that superman reboot to oh wait no obviously your not going to your Superman fan boy who's a bit of a hypocrite.

i wonder if DC is withholding the Lex cast until comic con. All these castings so far is gonna be hard to top.
