The Avengers wins big at the MTV Movie Awards, beating Silver Linings Playbook, The Dark Knight Rises, Ted, The Hunger Games .

The God Of Mischief has just won another award, beating out Tom Hardy's Bane, Javier Bardem's Silva, Leonardo DiCaprio's Calvin Candie and Marion Cotillard's Talia Al Ghul.

The film won the award for best fight beating out The Hunger Games, The Dark Knight Rises, Skyfall and Ted (why?)

This puts The Avengers on two MTV awards (also winning best Fight scene). With the show hitting the halfway point, who do you think will win the award for best Hero? Robert Downey Jr's Iron Man? or Christian Bale's Batman?

Comment below and let me know!

"Nick Fury is director of S.H.I.E.L.D, an international peace keeping agency. The agency is a who's who of Marvel Super Heroes, with Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When global security is threatened by Loki and his cohorts, Nick Fury and his team will need all their powers to save the world from disaster."

Damn. Was that really a surprise. I fully expect Bats to win as well (Though TDKR was terrible) for the sole fact he's Batman. But let's be serious, Iron Man deserves the win. He made a heroic sacrifice. Batman just fixed his auto-pilot...

I'm sorry but loki is a lame villain. Silva, Bane, and Candie are not only more interesting but also much cooler villains.

I thought Loki was good, but I was hoping Silva would win.

I thought the MTV movie awards were stupid and pointless?

Now they suddenly matter?

Good thing Twilight wasn't nominated or else that would have won. It's too bad that something other than TDKR or Avengers didn't win now we will have the latest dickrider bullshit to look forward to. I will however enjoy seeing all the same people that bitched and moaned about MTV's top movies of 2012 list change their tune.

I personally can't stand MTV, but it's still nice to see Avengers get some recognition like this! My favorite CBM of 2012!

Leo DiCaprio and Christoph Waltz were literally the only two things I liked about Django.

Really strange win. Happy for Avengers, but Loki sucked as a villain. I mean compared to Dicaprios Candie? Hell to the no.

As for best film, WHY THE [frick] IS TED THERE? WTF TED? Still over Silver Linings? Nah
